Not as good as the books, it should have been a television show.

That love scene between Daisy and Max von Sydow was quite graphic.

 

The special effects looked like toys!

 

The implications of the surprise twist involving Bob Newhart's cameo in the end will undoubtedly prove divisive among fans.

 

This will be a day long remembered.
Or alternatively: You were supposed to bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!
It helps to have a backup plan.

JJ Abrams takes us on a hilarious romp through Hyperspace as Luke skywalker, a lazy out of work jedi, moves back in with his sister and her boyfriend who just happens to be Luke's best friend! And thats where the fun begins! Think Little Miss Sunshine meets 2001: A Space Odyssey
I loved it and the ending warmed my heart.

If it was released 35 years earlier I might have liked it.

 

Wouldn't it have been a bit confusing to have episodes V and VII come out in the same year?

It was all that it needed to be, except Star Wars.

Pretty sure everyone is just having fun, not necessarily criticizing a movie we haven't seen yet. Half of these make more fun of movie critics in general.

 

Now it's Disney's turn to rape my childhood; the original Star Wars trilogy was 100 percent perfect in every way and can never be matched by anything ever released ever, which is why I'm going to bitch and moan about a perfectly entertaining film.
