Thanks! It's a little spot called Matthiessen State Park, about a mile south from Starved Rock State Park in Illinois.

Now on to DC, my favorite of the 3 (I'd like to know why the Treasury Department was blasting "Killing Me Softly" at 2am)

You should show those last pics to some football players who don't believe dinosaurs existed.

BTW, the pictures are very lovely.

I have to say, some people grumble about the mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, who took over back in 2010; but, the city looks AMAZING. Never seen it so bloody CLEAN before. No trash thrown about, all over the place. And not a single homeless alcoholic anywhere... Yes, these are more upscale areas and police do not allow the riffraff here, and it is cleaned better than in other places, the top levels of Coruscant, so to speak lol But, still... I remember our own neighborhood, used to be a very, very different place... I remember literally stepping over passed out drunks and addicts on my way to school. Gone. All of that. Gone, like erased with a plastic eraser. Crazy... Looks like a nice European city now. Gotta give Sobyanin the credit he deserves here....

BTW, when I first read the title of this thread, I thought it said "Post your pornography" lol I was like, I thought this was supposed to be a "family-friendly" forum :D

I was on vacation on the Swedish west coast last week. We had some pretty bad weather, but the skies were amazing.

    Also, seagulls.

The JPEG compression doesn't help the pictures, but I think they turned out OK.

I love photography! Especially of people... I'm antisocial at my core but I feel doing photography of other people helps me to overcome/deal with it, etc.

So, here's a few of my favorite shots over the past year or so.

Compressing images indeed often does lessen their impact for a viewing but this one above is AWESOME!!!!!! :)

Love the DOF on this shot! :)

So just before 2017 ended there was this event called "Comiket", which is short for Comic Market. Known for being the biggest marketplace event for fan-created comics, and the biggest gathering of cosplayers. Here's some of my favorite shots from the event:
