didn't Filoni once mention something about Barriss returning and even using her healing abilities? Luminara was not seen during this season... at all actually or maybe in flashbacks or something.....

 

This season we haven´t got any background jedi in action, for except of Even Piell, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Quinlan Vos and Ima-Gun Di. In Citadel Rescue also we got Kit Fisto, Adi-Gallia and Saesse Tinn but they acted as background characters.

In season two we also didn´t got so much time of background jedis but they appeared in some episodes, there were Plo Koon, Barriss Offee, Ki-Adi Mundi, Luminara Unduli, Adi-Gallia, Eeth Koth and Tera Sinube. Also Kit Fisto and Aayla appeared.

Have you noticed that during the first half of season two we got backgrounds jedi episodes and in the secon half, closest to the third season, there was not episodes with them?

That is worryng me

 

I don't think they're intentionally cutting back on the number of "other" Jedi in the show. We just had a whole trilogy with Even Piell as one of the stars -- that's pretty darn cool.

Basically, they're making episodes based on the plot more than "hey, let's make a story about Kit Fisto for the hell of it!" "What about the plot? What will he be doing?" "Well, he'll be at this disco... and then he'll dance... and dance some more. Maybe he'll have to fight a whole battalion of commando droids on the dance floor. We'll think of something."

Actually, that sounded pretty cool -- er...

Anyway, my point is that I don't think they're intentionally cutting Jedi out of the stories. They're just not shoehorning them in if they can help it.

 

Yes!! I vote for a Fisto Disco episode!! And you know EXACTLY which disco music they need to be playing too, right?

Seriously, though, I think the problem is that while it's a good thing that we occasionally have episodes that take the focus off the "core group" for awhile, if we had too many of them, the series might start feeling...disconnected, I think the word is. There would be any real flow.

 

Maybe the first episode will have a Jedi and clone troopers fighting a battle. Then in episode 2 Ahsoka and Anakin and Obi-Wan will do something on a mission, then Grievous will come and work with Cad Bane.

Seriously, though, I bet they decided not to have a slogan/tagline for the whole season because they (deservedly) got so much stick over the inaccuracy/stupidity of the last two seasons' taglines.

 

Rise of the Bounty Hunters I can see because with Aurra, Bane, Fett, Sugi, Embo, and all them, but what was the purpose of Secrets Reaveled?

 

If you look at it from the casual fans'(i.e. those not high on EU knowledge) / newcomer kiddies point of view, there were plenty of secrets revealed:

- Tarkin's background and what he was up to during this period.
- The entire Mortis Trilogy.
- The Nightsisters.
- Dooku's reason for training Ventress / Sidious' reason for wanting her gone.
- The greater story of Baron Papanoida and his family.
- The greater story of Ziro the Hutt.
- The greater story of Ventress.
- Finally showing a full portrayal of Panaka's description of the Hutts as 'gangsters'.
- Darth Maul might still be alive!
- The revelation that not all Separatists are psychotic cyborgs or slimy bankers.
- How Cad Bane was able to pull off his plan in Hostage Crisis.
- Etc.

 

Well, there not really secretive. It should be like Truths Revealed. Now, if it was Secrets Reaveled, they would show Ahsoka's Death in a vision.

It´s kinda weird they didn´t show nothing about Maul, I expected that they woul make lots of publicity with the return of Maul.
