    Hi Chris,

Thanks for your toy leads. You have already
saved me alot of money and I have also made
friends with the guys at Conspiracy Comics.
Their store on Guelph line is only 5 minutes
away from where I live. Is there anything
that you are still looking for...

    Hi Chris,

Actually I will be 36 in May. I live in the
Uppermiddle Burloak area on the north west
corner where all those new homes are being
built. We should get together. Maybe we can
plan something for the March 17th weekend. Hey Shmi and Tragic are you guys available that weekend too...

The 17th is my sister's bridal shower so I'm afraid we're booked for that day... (not sure about the evening). As for the Sunday - that's up to the boss.

Hmmh...she's lucky. The only reason I get to be the boss is because I have the vehicle to get us there! :)

We're busy saturday too. (It's wedding season, no it's rabbit season...)I realized after I posted that a small comic book store may not be open on Sunday. We could try for Sunday, if either of you could confirm it is definitely open. Would Sunday be any better for you?

Um, I wasn't thinking anything fancy or formal, just kinda a oh, hey, nice to have a face.

And the Connection isn't exactly a come from outa town kinda place, just kinda handy for locals looking.

Oh, and Mike, thanks, as a 29er looking down the barrel of 30, you made me feel a bit better.

    Thank you Chris......I think...

I believe that I am still the oldest one on
this particular forum. It is hard to believe
that when EP III comes out in 4 years, I will
be turning 40. That is presuming that EP III is released May18ish.

    Very Scary !!!

Actually maybe I should not think about that
    one.

They have the POTJ line in now $12.95 for the figues. Plus they have some 12 inch figures too, 100th Luke($?), Vader and Maul($?), Bounty Hunters ($ around 40). Not alot of Episode I mostly POTJ. He does alot of business so stuff moves in and out fast.

I'm 29, that can't be over the hill. I have no kids and have my own SW toys. your as old as you feel inside. So that would make me 17.

Yes, I was 12 when Star Wars came out and 18 when Jedi was released. Little did I know back then that it would be 17 years until the next movie came out. Like I have said
before and to the media back when EP1 came out, all of my so called friends that I grew up with and said that they would be there with me for EP1 have dropped off the face of the earth. They never even returned my calls around the time EP1 came out. Get this, these are not guys that have been able to
hold down a decent job and are married with kids, they are my age and are still living with their parents. I am the guy who has been married for 8 years, has been in an IT job for 15 years, and has a morgage. But I never lost my passion for Star Wars. It has only gotten bigger over the years. Of course
much of it goes to all of you out there that I email, talk to on the phone, and who come by my place. Sorry about the rant folks but I had a dream last night of being in line for Empire in 1980 and it brought this rant to the surface once again.....anyways I thought that the people that are new to the forum would like to hear my story.

sorry to get off topic there,

So they have the 12" bounty hunters out where you are Chris ( Jedi Niagara) actually Bertramtalespinner is Chris too.
    I am still looking for 12" 4-Lom and IG88
but I have had no luck finding them in my
    home town of Burlington...

note to self, Crazy Mike is looking for 4-Lom and IG-88...

Went a little crazy last Friday and did a high speed border crossing. Target sucked, Big K netted me a lego skiff for 3.00 and I was really starting to doubt all this WE'VE got better stuff in the US, until I found a KB in the outlet mall.

    OUCH! $49.00 US later!

Got the Jabba dancers and skiff guards cinema scenes, snowtrooper with e-web and assorted POTF figures. Not much in terms of POTJ though, places there looked like HELLMART here.

well, it probably wouldn't be JUST for wearing the trooper gear. I do recall a disturbing picture with a white teddy bear.
