Spok, WA Premiere plans

I had a few ideas for what we could do for ROTS premiere. Feel free to add your own comments and ideas.
Casey and John told me that the group had contacted the AMC theater and they were cool with us being down there hanging out while people wait in line.
I thought it would be cool to grab some Fan Films, a laptop, a projector and various ROTS trailers and project them up on the a wall at the theater. It could provide a nice distraction for those waiting, but be warned: we will get sick of watching the trailer over and over again. Trust me
I'm going to start working on a list of Fan Films that would be good to play.

Also, we might want to include some of the winners for CIII fan film contest.

Also, I didn't see this before, but "The Formula" is about 53 minutes long so we might axe that one as well.
Pod Commuting is iffy. I just watched it; it's good for a laugh, but that is about it.

OH ok. You are talking about the possibility of a FanForce early screening, yes? So no definite answer yet then, I presume. This early screening, it's for everyone in the Spokantina right? If yes then I will be doing the same as you, dressed up and hanging out and helping out.

No, seriously it wasn't bad...it just didn't tell much of a story after we got through it all. Lots of SW fanfilms don't end up telling a story. I have to say, the lightning effects look cool though. Whoever did that did an amazingly awesome job for drawing it in frame by frame. That guy deserves to be picked up to help crew the new Indiana Jones movie.

no and no... the Fan Force was allowed one viewing of our RotS... and it has already happend, sorry. Now it's locked away in a vault... where it will stay for eternity, never to be viewed again... muahahahahahaha!!!

Don't worry, I think Matt has a copy secreted away from me here. He takes great joy in showing that movie with which I had absolutely nothing at all to do. And Matt and I both will be up there the on the 26th & 27th....

Yep, Matt says he just packed it in his stuff to go up there, so anyone who hasn't seen it is in luck.

Oh, we have the movie which you had nothing to do with. In fact, Jarus is rather annoyed that I insist upon showing it to people
I still think we should take footage from it and Mindtrix and create a fan film about what not to do.
Also, Vilas, do you have any footage/files/stills left from the old ROTS?

I don't think anything's been done yet, and there was no discussion about anything relevant at the meeting/party, we didn't even discuss the next meeting...
