Well, back on topic, I think we should plan on gong to one of these classical shows.
Yes classical, the music that's in the backround of those little movies some you seem to enjoy.
If anyone cares, John Williams is conducting the pops at tanglewood tonight.
A few months ago I tried to get tickets to ANY concert that John Williams was conducting this summer(and beyond) but they were all sold out .
Next year will be different...
The Hatch Shell idea is a great one! Someone should check out the schedule online and see when we could all get to Boston to see a show!
The Hatch shell has mostly classical or jazz concerts (FNX jazz) actually.
FYI my father will be playing with an orchestra in the hatch shell the 28th! I'm going to be there probably!
I can help plan a fourth meeting if anyone is interested,(sorry i know i'm jumping the gun, but I cannot come to the 3rd meeting cuz i am leaving the 2nd!)
I'd love to go see a classical show. Classical is good music.
Just a quick note: Museum of Science prices -
Exhibit Halls: $11.
Omni Theater: $7.50
Same price for Laser or Planetarium shows.
Where in the museum are we gonna meet?
I haven't been in a while but I seem to remember that the planetarium was really cool.
I figure meeting in the Lobby is the best. It's nice and open so finding people shouldn't be hard.
When are you guys going? (wedsdays are free for some people i think)
If you're talking about this meet, Cerassi, it's already scheduled and announced: Saturday, August 4th at 1PM.
Bad news. I do have to babysit on the fourth, so this will be the third meeting I've missed. Sorry, I'm disappointed, but I need to make money.
Hopefully when I come back on break from South Carolina I'll be able to finally get to a meeting and meet everyone.
Damn...do you really have to make money that badly?
PS: If you or Mike miss any more meets, I'm going to start thinking you're not who you say you are and don't want to show up because you'd be found out.
Um, I am also the bearer of bad news...
I cannot make the meeting as well. We are haing a graduation party for my sister.
I am a little mad. I really wanted to go. But, you know, maybe the date will change.
I'm extending that statement about Beth and Mike to you, TIE. If you don't show up to a meet some time, I'm going to get suspiscious.
I must rub it in, we in NYC had our meeting yesterday, we had about 40 people attend.
You guys will have what at most 5?
nothing but the facts
I still have no idea. I'll have to ask Granolabacca if he wants to go.
We're probably gonna have the same people as last time there. Not that it wasn't fun, because it was, but we need more people!
IF it's any consolation, over the weekend I replied to about 6 emails from people who read the announcement on TFN. So we might have more people than you think.
I might be able to make it. The party planning is still in the works. Maybe I can get it pushed back a day or weekend.
Unfortunetly Reese I do have to make money that badly. My Mother would throw a fit and a half if she found out I passed on making money to go to a Fan Force meeting in Boston. But, that is just the way the world works I suppose.
But, don't worry, I assure you that I am who I say I am! I just can't get to meetings. I WILL get to at least one in my lifetime however! I SWEAR!
Oh, and while I'm thinking of it; didn't someone take pictures from the last meet...caue none of us have seen them!
I just finished up the roll they were on last week. They'll be developed by the end of the week.
So we are gonna have people there that we've never even heard of Eric? Thats wacky, I hope they aren't crazy...
Me too Dave, me too. That's why I asked them to check in here so we could get to know them a little before meeting them.
