Preparations for Meet #7

I want an Elven blade, though.

 

That would be sweet. It glows blue every time someone you hate comes near.

Or what about those polearms the Elves were using in the beginning...at Mordor? All of the Orcs rushed them and they justswing them up. That was pretty sweet.

 

I's gotsta question. I could have sworn that I saw Legolas with two big sword thingers? Was I seeing things. If I recall right, it happened pretty quickly...and I think I ready something about him fighting with something of that nature...

Just wondering...

 

Legolas did stab someone then he went back to using his bow(like a freakin machine gun ). It was a really cool scene.

 

Legolas had two short swords/big knives with him. He was keeping them right in front of his arrows. Personally, I thought it was cool seeing him use his arrows without shooting them, just stabbing Orcs with them!

2) one of the usual demonstrations they have at higgins armory is they take a piece of chain mail, ask for a volunteer, they then put the chain mail on the volunteer's hand and proceed to stab the person's hand to show how great the stuff is.

Well you seemed all excited about a Higgins meet on AIM so I just figured you would be there if we had one. You don't live far either(well kinda, being in your respected cow town and all ).

 

So, will it be Higgins Armory?

 

We also need a date and a time.

 

I'll check to see if they have any special events that may be of interest to us and get back to you guys.

Legolas's and Arwen's swords sort of looked like katanas.

BTW - The armory/armoury sounds fine for a meet. There are places to eat near there, I think. I was there for a field trip on December 5.

Well, we need a date so...the Saturdays in January are- 5,12,19,26. I wouldn't be able to go on the 5th though. I vote for the end of the month, the 26th because Mid-terms should be over by then.
And for the time, they close at 4PM. So 12?

THey close at 4? How big is the place?

 

It's a good size. I don't think it would take too long for a tour. As for time...1 or 1:30 might be better. As for the day, that would be either the 12th or 19th. Preferably the 12th. I'll be working, so I can just ask for early hours again. On the 19th, I might go skiing but I definately won't be working.

 

I'll just request whatever day we choose off. They like me, so they'll oblige it.

 

Higgins is good sized, it shouldn't take too long to tour it but whatever.
As for the date, whatever you guys want is fine. Higgins is 15 minutes from my house.

 

I'll have to start out early. My brother goes up to Worcester a lot, he should know how long it'll take for me to get there.

 

There is a neat Festival on the 5th that I forgot to mention but that is pretty soon.

The Greendale mall is very close to Higgins. They have a food court and such and also a Best Buy.

 

No arcade though =[....... but best buy has massive amounts of games to play so that can count

 

What kind of mall doesn't have an arcade?

 

Both Malls in the Worcester area, the Greendale and the Auburn malls.

BTW- I won't be posting much today as my mother is making me clean and won't let me on the computer. In exachange she is giving me a ride to the movies tomorrow.
