Preperation for Episode II (Meet #11)

400th post!

This is most frustrating, but we may just have to go and see it ourselves.

 

Its basically the point of fanforce! Damn movie people

I'll go check the Loews site now.

 

Nothing about midnight showings.

 

Yeah, well- we should decide by Friday if Meet 11 will take place. I need to know so I can decide what else I can do.

 

If things change, then I guess it can. All of the midnight showings so far are sold out. Unless that Loews gets a midnight showing, I'd say Meet #11 is a gonner.

 

Meet #11...the meet that never was.

 

It is sad, but there's always Meet #12.

This is my proposal (as Dave as said):

If there is no information by this Friday (May 10)...then Meet #11 becomes scratched and Meet #12 becomes Meet #11. We can all see Episode II our separate ways.

However, that is if you guys are looking for midnight showings. I'm sure there are tickets available for other times on the 16th.

What about fandango.com? They deal specifically with Loews stuff. Ok, I checked it out and here are the 3 Lowes theatres having Episode II showings:

Yeah that's what I saw. Well, I live close to Methuen, and it's my old hometown. I might be able to make it...providing it's a little later on in the day.

 

My uncle lives in Methuen. That doesn't sound to bad, it would be less of a ride out. But then again, Tony wouldn't be able to make it. So maybe Meet 11 will go down in the books as "Shortest meet ever"

I called the Lowe's in Danvers (Liberty Tree Mall) They are not doing advance sales yet. The girl I talked to said maybe starting on 05/10.

 

Stupid Lucasfilm is still fighting with Loews about the sound quality of their theaters.

As much as I hate to say it,we might have to dump this meet and go on our own!!


here is a list of theartres in a 40 mile radius of boston showing the movie,pick your theartre then go back to May15th for midnite viewings.

 

Oh boy...this sucks. The planning has been fun...

 

THis is just sucking beyond belief. We've been planning this for months, we can't give up without a fight...

 

I agree...lets wait a few more days before scraping the meet.

 

I'm not going just to let you guys know(if we ended up having the meet after all). Last night I bought 6 tickets to the 12:01 showing at Worcester Showcase North.

Well looks like I'm going to Revere [face_puke] to see the movie.my friend just got 8 tix for the 12:01am showing.

 

Sorry, to bring the moral down with that last post but I just came to the relization that this meet isn't gonna happen. But we will be having a few mini-meets as Eric, Ed, and I will be going to the Cinema North in Worcester-Lots of members are going to Randalph- and some others are going to Chestnut Hill. So in actuality- this meet isn't a faliure at all, its just the most spread out meet we have ever had
