Preperations for Meet #14(July Meet)

Well, it has to be past the 15th as Tony will be away.
That leaves the 20th and the 27th.
I don't care which date but I'd better check whether I have any appointments...argh.

So anyhow- does anyone have any ideas? Going to the Beantown Pub and seeing a movie or whatever is always fun but we should save that for emergancys when no one has any ideas for a meet so it doesn't get old.

Anyone with some ideas of what to do in Boston? A duck tour?

And btw- The Oct. Meet is King Richards Faire.
Nov-(is the Con in Nov. and are we going to it?)
Dec- Two Towers at the Soloman Pond Mall(yes I know its out of some people's way but Boston is out of the way for me and other members)And Tony, I'm sure you can get a ride or can take the Commuter Rail to Worcester and I'll pick you up.

 

Well, we have the latter half of the year planned, now we just need July through September(though I'm sure September is out of the question for me, I'll be settling in at MCLA).

Other than lunch and a movie, what else can we do?

 

Duck Tour would be fun. If we had enough people, we could fill the duck up!

December is ok for me to go to Woostah! As long as you pick me up at the station, though...

Back to the July meet, the only bad thing is the Duck Tour is kinda expensive. It's wicked fun, though! They even let little kids drive the Duck through the Charles River. Here's the website for the Duck Tours. It's $20 a person for students, and $23 for adults (like you, Roy! ) Anyway, it should be fun.

Either the 20th or 27th is good for me.

 

I know I don't have much say, considering I never make it to meets, but what about Fanueil Hall?

 

Really not much to do in Fanueill Hall,except shop!!Well maybe drink but that leaves most of you's out !!

The duck tour thing sounds ok,but how long is the tour?? Is it long enough to make a meet out of it?

As for the date,I'm pretty much free all summer so far.

 

I don't know how long the Boston Duck Tours run. I know the one on the Cape I went on was about a half hour or so...and Boston has a lot more to show than Hyannis...

 

I just checked the website,it says the tour last 80 minutes.

 

Much as I'd love to come, once again I won't be back from my summer job till mid-August. Ah, well. Say, maybe I'll steal a bus from UNH and we can go for a road trip.

Nah...duck tour sounds pretty good. That is, if we can hold any kind of conversation over that gabby driver.

 

WE'll simply mind trick him into not talking.

 

So is everyone happy with a duck tour? the money is sorta an issue but we can just save our pennies and steal from hobos till we all get enough.

Sorry, I'm a beach person. and I know this probably wont happen but it's worth a try

EDIT: but if not i'd like to go on the duck tours again, you can just throw me over when we get into the water and let me swim back

 

Sure we will, but you'll have to pay for the decontamination that accompanies swimming in Boston Harbor for yourself.

 

I'll probably be on Nantucket with my family or somewhere...

I'd like to do something other than the Duck Tour, but two things:

1. I never make it to meets anyway.
2. I don't really mind the Duck Tour.

So I guess it's the Duck Tour...

 

BTW, I am going to New York sometime in July, but I don't know when.
