I didn't get tickets... this sucks. So what will the ground forces do? My mom might complain if we just stand around.

We won't just stand around. We'll say bai bai to the Amphibious force and then hang out. Its up to you guys. We could hang out at the mall(as Malrats :D ) or we could walk around for and hour and 20 min then meet up with the Amphibious force. We'll figure it out as we go.

Heck, no. You'll definitely find something to do, perhaps chill out in the Pru for a little while longer, or go...do something. I don't know Boston that well and I know even less of what Dave has in mind. ;)

There are lots o'places to go (though I admit, I'd been looking forward to the Duck... I've been meaning to do that for two years!). If we want to spend a comparable amount, we could go troll the North End and find an Italian restaurant to hole up in. We could go up to the Skywalk at the Pru. We could go down to the Common and play in the park (everyone bring SW toys if you got 'em... or we could stop at FAO Schwartz... ;)). Or stroll around the Public Garden. That's free. Maybe we could take a Swan Boat, though that's really not too interesting. We could walk the Freedom Trail, also free. I could walk you around the library, if I can find my way through the construction. There's a mall other than the Prudential, the Copley Place. There's the Esplanade. Or we could just go to Unos or Fridays or Chilis or one of those Attack of the Cloned Restaurant Chain places and hang out.

Well, we'll be eating at 12 with the Amphibious Force.
We did the Skywalk a while back.
    Freedom trail sounds good.
    Being Malrats sounds good.
Finding a comic shop and setting Joe and I loose in it sounds great. :D
Letting Joe and I resite Malrats line by line sounds great :p .
Letting our resident VIP show us around the library sounds good.

We'll decide for sure at the meet.

    Being mallrats sounds cool!!
    Pending the following things:
*there is a kid on the escalator to scream about
*there are new cookies at the cookie stand
    among many other things......
I'll bring my dixie cup to drink pepsi out of!!haha

Are you serious about me brining my star wars toys!!! I have around or maybe even more than 200 figures!!!I don't think that would be possible to lug around the streets of boston. Everyone should bring their lightsabers and we can scare the people in the area by fighting eachother!!!

K-19, is that supposed to be good? I hope its not another one of those non-action military movies which it looks like it is. It does have Liam and Harrison, two actors from the star wars saga though....

Ooh yah, K-19 was really good. It didn't have as much action as, say, Crimson Tide, but it was a genuine nail-biter. I don't know why it's dropped out of half the theaters in this area already.

Didn't they close down the Pru's Skywalk after 9-11?

They closed the Hancock observation tower. I'm pretty sure the Pru is still open. Though I haven't been there since 9/11.

Not to be mean... Hmmm, now I feel bad. Ok, ok, I'll pretend it's Pepsi.

I'll have to check that too. I thought it was pepsi, but maybe its coke. Either way I'm still bringing my dixie cup.

"the cookie stand's not part of the food court"
    "yes it is"
"the cookie stand is upstairs the food court is downstairs, we're not talking quantum phyisics here"
"the cookie stand is an eatery, an eatery is a part of the foodcourt"
" Bulls&%$, all eaterys which operate with in the designated area are part of the food court. All other eateries which operate outside of the said designated square constitute as an atonimous unit for mid-mall snacking. Now if you want to wax-intellectual about the subject..."

An online script says it's Coke, but the movie could be different.
