Preperations for Meet #16(September)

This month we are off to the Museam of Science on the 21st of September.

I think we should see an Omni. We went to the Planetarium last year, it was kinda cool. I guess we can decide then.

Place: MOS, main lobby
Date:September 21st at 12pm
Cost: $12 for exhibit hall and $7 for Omni/show at Planetarium.

November: Convention where we will hopefully have a table.
December: TTT at the Soloman Pond Mall

Oooh, MOS. I haven't been there I think since first grade--waaaay before the new amphitheatre was in there. Love to see what's new.

This should be easy as pie, folks...VERY easy access by the Green Line!

Carrie is bringing everyone pie, what?

By the T its easy, but parking there is expensive. Keep that in mind if your watching your funds. Its as much to park there for the amount of time we'll be there as it is for the admition to the exhibit halls.

you know what my favorite part of the museum was as a kid? the gift shop. such fun stuff

sadness. I won't be at the sept meet. the 21st is the day I go back to college.

Hopefully we have more than 3 member at this meet, unlike last time...

No King Richards faire for us this year. Next year, definatly.
We are gonna do something Halloweenish. Haven't decided yet, but if anyone has any ideas please start talking about them in either the Random thread or PM me and I'll include them in the October meet planning thread.

Back to Meet #16....

I have a suggestion for you all. I belive you can sign up at your local libraries for free tickets to the MOS. I belive the limit is 2 if you can get any at all...I'll check today at the Wooosta library. And if they have em I'll go to the Leicester library and get a couple there too. If all goes as planned, we'll all get in for free

But wait, does our resident librarian VIP know anything of this?

as for the library thing ~ does that include rhode island libraries? if not then not all of us may get in for free

tony do you play any instruments? (sorry i know it's off topic for the thread but as a pianist i'm curious)

He plays guitar and is perty darned good at it. And he aint too bad at singing either.

I play a mean G Chord, but that's about it. Hopefully I can make it two meets in a row.

I'll leave the planning on this entirely up to you guys. My tenure as City Rep is just about over, and I won't be coming to this one anyways.
