What do you consider to be the top three highs and lows of the prequel trilogy. And when I say that, I mean scenes that were well done or not well done or contained a plot element that you really did or did not like. Mine in no particular order...

    Highs

    1. OWK and QGJ vs. Darth Maul.
    2. Yoda vs. Darth Sidious.
    3. Opening battle scene in ROTS.

    Lows

    1. "Noooooo!" scene.
    2. "I truly, deeply love you" scene.
    3. Multiple Jar Jar scenes are a tie.

    2. R2 saving the ship TPM
    3. Jango Fett on Kamino AOTC

    Lows.

    2. The under water boat scene in TPM

    Plus Points (+)
A lot of stuff that I couldn't list here. I like the prequels that much.

    Minus Points (-)
Any scene with Jar Jar in it
The super-mushy romance between Anakin and Padmé in AOTC
Palpatine vs Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin, Kit Fisto, and Agen Kolar in ROTS

    Highs.

    1. The scene where the random hot chick with the antenna sticking out of her head watched the podracers swoop past. Such a Star Wars moment.
    2. The Obi/Qui/Maul saber battle.
    3. That couple of seconds when the Gungan Army emerges from the mist.

    Lows.

    1. I almost don't want to waste one on Jar Jar since it's just a given, but damn, what was GL thinking. Practically any scene with him, but especially the the scene in the bongo.
    2. Anakin going from "I should turn you in [for being a Sith Lord]" to slicing up 4 year-olds about ten minutes later lol. Terrible, terrible writing.
    3. Noooooooooooooooooo rawr rawr.

    In no particular order...

    Highs

    1. Padme and Jar Jar talk and Padme decides to go home and fight in TPM. Maybe the only good decision Padme makes.
    2. Yoda and the younglings in AOTC. Yoda having fun.
    3. The ruminations scene in the middle of ROTS. The music, the emotion and those great views of Coruscant.

    Lows

    1. Padme and Anakin discuss anger. I stop liking Padme.
    2. Padme confesses her love to Anakin. Too long.
    3. Threepio gets too much screen time in the arena. I can take one cheesy line but why does 3po get so much screen time in that scene?

    Highs

    1. Obi-Wan vs. Grievous, and any scene with Grievous.
    2. The Geonosis battle area scene, and Kit Fisto with his famous smile.
    3. The entire pod race.

    Lows

    1. The scenes with Anakin and Padme on Naboo.
    2. Anakin turning to the dark side, and Sidious killing Mace Windu.
    3. The Felucia scene in the Order 66 sequence, because even though it had one of my favourite characters and planets, I just think Aayla Secura's death wasn't done very well.

From the highest to the very lowest that a person's spirit can go....the PT has been truly, artfully crafted with extreme contrasts, both visually and thematically.

    Highs:

The slow and painful transition of a hurting Anakin into a vengeful Vader.
    Lightsaber duels (sorry)
The scenery of all of the different planets and systems.

    Lows:

More story to tell in AOTC
A little too much cliche/cheesy acting
    Midichlorian theory

I love the PT, no matter what lows it may have though.

It's hard to choose only three highs.

    Highs
    1. Obi-Wan v Grievous scene
    2. Anakin and Obi-Wan bantering while 'rescuing' Palpatine
    3. Duel against Maul

    Lows:
    1. Anakin and Padme love scenes in AOTC
    2. Anakin complaining about being 'held back'
    3. Pod race scene

    Highs-
TPM: The transition (and music) after Yoda's line "I sense much fear in you." Very depressing and foreboding.
AOTC: Anakin at the Tusken camp (Shmi's death). Powerful moment.
ROTS: Basically the whole movie, besides a few small moments of inconsistent dialogue. One highlight of the top of my head, Obi-Wan confronting Padme transitioning to Anakin looking at the eclipse on Mustafar. But there are so many moments it's hard to just say that one. One more... Anakin and Padme discussing Anakin's first dream. So tragic.

    Lows-
AOTC: "In that case be extra careful." Just lame advice for a Jedi.
AOTC: Anakin's confession about the Tusken slaughter. One of the reasons... It doesn't make sense to me that he chooses this moment to blame it on Obi-Wan. Not very appropriate timing for the comment IMO.
ROTS: The "I feel lost" scene. Padme's "Lost? What do you mean?" is unintentionally comical. I mean, it's not very helpful for Anakin.

Ha! To me, Anakin's turn just seemed too rushed and too irrational.

Right off the top of my head, something I would like to have seen instead: We get to the point where Windu is about to strike Palpatine. Instead of cutting off Windu's hand (and I would prefer the reason for Anakin's intervention to be out of loyalty to Palpatine rather than saving Padme), Anakin instead blocks his saber - very much like he did Luke's in ROTJ. Anakin and Windu proceed to fight (again, like ROTJ) and at some point Anakin begins to lose control of his emotions and becomes angry and you can see the dark side kind of flow into him and overwhelm him - maybe even to his surprise. His eyes begin to turn red/orange like they did on Mustafar and he becomes very aggressive like Luke at the end of the ROTJ duel. He beats Windu in a fit of rage, clearly becoming a different person in the process. At that point, he has lost all compassion and joins Palpatine.

I'm no screenwriter, but I like that (or something along those lines) better than what actually happened. I know Anakin is supposed to be a bit unstable, but man, who consciously raids a place where they've lived for ten years and kills everyone there, including young kids? Although I did not like Spider-Man 3, I would like to see the dark side work similar to the symbiote. It latches on and consumes you when you lose control and can turn a good person evil. In ROTS, it seems like Anakin makes a conscious decision to kill everyone he knows to maybe (even Palps had admitted by that point that he wasn't completely sure of the path to immortality) save Padme. That's just stupid. Love the saga as a whole, but I think Lucas and Co. dropped the ball on that one.

I may be a minority here, but I actually like the way Anakin's turn played out. The ruminations scene establishes to us the audience that, really that's all has been doing - ruminating. As a massive irrational worrier myself, I understand this feeling completely. So he goes to find Windu about to destroy the only one who he believes can save the one he loves, not to mention the babies. In a moment of deep fear of losing his wife, anger at Windu for trying to take this chance away, and hate for this whole situation altogether, Anakin does only what he can think to do. But he realizes immediately after that perhaps he acted too quickly, too senselessly. But by now, it's too late. He has gone too far down the dark path. He feels that if he defies Sidious, then there's no chance of saving Padme. He cannot go back to the Jedi. And it's not like he does not feel immense guilt over his actions, that's why the scene of Vader crying on Mustafar is in the movie.

Anyway, that's just how I interpret it ^_^

There's a difference between being an irrational worrier and someone killing a bunch of people to save a loved one. And not that it should matter, but he knew a bunch of the people he killed and saving the loved one was only a possibility. That makes it even worse.

Anakin's actions after Windu's death weren't just irrational, they were insane.

There are so many scenes I like and not many I don't like...

    But in no particular order:

    Highs:

    - The final battle on Mustafar leading up to the "You were the chosen one.. you were my brother, I loved you,," speech Obi-Wan delivers after he defeats Anakin..
    - Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul duel of the fates scene.
    - Battle of Geonosis, especially the moment when the Jedi's appear and fight alongside Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padmé.

    Lows:
    - Creature farting at Jar Jar at the pod race in TPM. (Funny when I was a kid though)
    - Padmé playing with her food at the dinner table in Anakin's home.. Maybe she didn't like the food? :D
    - Watto's wings giving me a headache...
