Exactly, when Motti is getting choked you can hear a very distinct rumble.

 

Sometimes actors are older than characters - it's quite common in Hollywood for people in their late 20s or even very early 30s, to play teenagers.

Similar principle applies.

Just saw the movie last night. It's obviously not Hayden, but it obviously resembles him enough that you get a glimpse of Anni.

 

The problem is that 31 years before Rogue One, as opposed to 21 years before Rogue One, the Republic wasn't at war. There were only those occasional mini-conflicts, like the one on Naboo.

Kinda wish Geonosis/geonoshians would have been mentioned or something along that line.. Was there anything kinda referencing them?? I think Pablo said something like when Krennic says 'The work is stalled', kinda meant the geonoshians couldn't get the super laser working.?

 

Not sure if this has been said before, but the Guardian of the Whills Suite, sounds a hell of a lot like Across the Stars, at least in the first few notes.

 

@Bo9. AOTC pans up but the ship is upside down so it is actually flying down to Coruscant.

Read Catalyst - it delves a lot into the construction, heavily featuring Poggle The Lesser and the Geonosians in a couple of chapters.

 

I thought the Force always had that distinct humming or whatever, I've always heard it. Rogue One though, used the force choke sound from The Clone Wars rather than the movie one.

Credit to Edwards for including Coruscant and Mustafar as very discerning visual links to the prequel trilogy in Rogue One. They were great.
But for me though, it was Jimmy Smit himself as Bail Organa. And his referencing of Obi Wan in the scene with Mon Mothma on Yavin that really felt the most connective.

 

Interesting that both scenes at Coruscant and Mustafar are not named on screen. Btw Love the way Bail walks into the scene, just when " your father" is mentioned when Bail enters. Jynn gives a perplexing stare at Bail.
