Buff, NY *** Presentation of Donation Check to Compass House ***

What: Best Buy $1000 check presentation to Compass House and photo opp
When: Saturday January 20 @ 7:30AM (meet at 7 to get into costume)
Where: Best Buy on Niagara Falls Blvd.

In need of costumes!!!




I just received a heads up from Larry. Ray is all set to accept the $1000 check from Best Buy and is going to be receiving the check at 7:30am this Saturday. Sorry for the last minute notice, but I myself just got the message that this is a go.

Best Buy is asking for a group of us to appear in costume for the presentation. There is a good chunk of money to hand over to Compass House directly from The North Ridge.

Is anyone free to make it? I can make it as Vader.

I understand it is early and also the same day as the NE Party, but would greatly appreciate anyone who could make it. We would be done by 8am and have plenty of time to head back to sleep.

 

im there as darth nihilus, boba is in the painting room...does anyone have a red saber i can use for this?

I can be there as Anakin, Rob as Royal Guard, and Victoria as Leia if you need the whole gang. It is SO nice when Rob isn't working.

 

I would have loved to be there but I am traveling back to Buffalo from Canada and won't be in town before 3pm.

 

We can use as many people as possible.

I can also use a couple non costumed people to take pictures.

 

Rob will have to sit this one out, I forgot he has an appointment that morning at 8.

Presentation went well. Ray was happy to see us again and the store was proud to have worked with us and for accomplishing our goal.

Thanks to those who crawled out of bed early and braved the bitter cold temperatures.
