Wish I could really say, Welcome Back, but I never new you were gone:D

cause, I am from northern suburbs of Chicago, but mentally view
    Indiana as my homeland,

There fore a hearty welcome to SouthBend, from this Illinoisian,
    who thinks he's a Hoosier.

    [image=http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a94/MusicTrooper/welcome2.gif]

and now you have to visit the

Explain Your Board Name....Call out thread,

    http://boards.theforce.net/south_bend_in/b10171/26563308/p4/?92

    and,

    [image=http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a94/MusicTrooper/Wow.gif]

who knew that the South Bend membership drive would be so successful,
pretty soon they might have to hold STAR WARS conventions there?

Ya, she was the receptionist for awhile.

Does Peg remind you of the boss from The Devil Wears Prada or is it just me?

Well.. it was my first adult job. And the first time I ever got laid off. I suppose it holds a special little place in my heart..

Or maybe it's because that was the first place I ever heard of theForce.net?

    oh memories =P

Indiana is great, the only state in the country to list coal as renewable energy.

'don't get me started going down that path right now'

It certainly is renewable. We just need more dinosaurs and an eon or two. So don't be silly.

Next thing you'll be telling me is that the value of Pi isn't 3.2!

Ahh...high points in the history of legislation and court decisions. This would take this thread in an interesting direction.

Oh shoot me now. To hell with science. We'll just let the law makers and politicians decide whether gravity exists.

Just like during the Reagan era the attempt to classify ketchup as a vegetable for school lunches.

    Bah.

    Entropy[face_laugh]

or, and I am paraphrasing here,

The measure of the unavailable energy in a closed systems that is also,
usually considered to be a measure of the system's disorder and
that is a property of the system's state and is related to it in such a manner
that a reversible change in stuff in the system produces a change in the measure which
varies directly with the change and inversely with the absolut degree
at which the change takes place and thus influencing the degradation
of matter and enrgy in the universe to an ultimate state
    of inert uniformity.

Honest, that is almost an exact quote of the def from my dictionary,
which seemed so goofy to me, that only nerds/geeks would appreciate it,

(even those who have been in danger of loosing their geek cards recently,
which for me I did not even know we had, so I guess my is still active,
    but just lost?)

So this is a political thread now, well, can't forget about these: Bushisms

Warning, if you like the current President, you won't like the above link. Well, actually it is nothing bias towards the President, it is just his exact words that he spoke.

In response to MT's post of Entropy that reminded me of my days at MSU. Chemistry 101 was my first class and Entropy was in the first line of the work book for that class. I would love to go back to MSU, it is like the Disneyworld of the north.
