Prince-Admiral Krennel...pushing up daisies or still around?

I thought he went down with his ship at the end of Isard's Revenge, but i read that a while ago so i might be wrong.

 

I Proton Torpedo went through his stomach and then hit the back of the bridge and took out the Bridge tower of his ship...some say that this killed him...others say if you wonder around the forest at night you can hear a evil giggle that dances through the forest like a pair of drunken bunny rabbits.

 

When missiles smash right through your bridge whilst you're on it, you generally stay dead.

 

Slight correction Wes. It was a concussion missile, not a proton torpedo.

But I don't think Krennel noticed that. Or cared at that point.

 

The fragments from the bridge viewport cut him to pieces right before the blast took out the bridge

He had just enough time to realise that the reason part of his uniform wasn't turning red was due to his artificial forearm before the concussion missile detonated

Not actually enough left of him to push up daisies, Stackpole was fairly clear about that at least

 

A Concussion missle punctured the view port of his bridge and sent little shards of transparisteel through his body. Then it's explosion engulfed his body.

I think he's dead. What are the chances that he surcived hundreds of puncture woulds,exposure to to vacuum and an explosion?

 

I wonder if he and Piett are sharing notes in the afterlife about "dieing on the bridge when objects smash the viewports"?
