Though half thread now is filled with post commenting on it's classicness.................................at some point, it should be locked.

 

From the looks of it, it gets locked and unlocked periodically.

 

Seeing the thread title still brings back Paradox and I talking about this way back in 99. Ugh.

Am I the only person who thinks of a Roomba as a droid? Can you imagine how odd they would have seemed when this thread was first posted? Not only Roombas but other things that are commonplace now like iPods/iPhones, social networking sites, text messaging, blu-ray dvds, a black president, Michael Jackson and the World Trade Center being referred to in the past tense, would have all seemed very odd when this thread was first posted.

Funny how these things go... I'll shut up now.

 

And for the the baseball fans here at that time (I'm sure there had to be some), the idea that the Red Sox would win 2 World Series during this same time period would have been an unbelievable thought.

 

I have closer to 20k posts, but I just got 1138 on this name and thought of this thread.

My unproven theory: he (or she) has actually been a member of these forums ever since '98, enjoying the fact that nobody knows that he or she really is OWC.
