Private Message: Recall Feature

Would it be possible to implement a recall feature for Private Messages that aren't read by the recipient (in case they are sent to the wrong person), like Microsoft Outlook allows?

 

I doubt it. You should know how the zerosleep coding situation works. I suppose it could be suggested though.

That's also a VERY specific feature for people generally on the same network using Outlook AND Exchange...

I haven't used AOL in years, but I do know they have that feature.

 

I support this idea. Sometimes I've sent a message to the wrong person, or it no longer applies, or I find that it didn't make sense and so on.

 

Good idea, maybe a feature were you can delete some of your Private Message's as well. Or people could just pay better attention of who their writing to.

Edit: I agree that it would also be VERY handy if we could delete old PMs from our own lists(sent & read), so that we can more easily access the ones we want to keep and re-read later. That would be fantastic. I asked j-m-t months ago if this was possible, but she informed me it's not.

i would LOVE to have had this feature on numerous occasions....that dang pull down list scroll feature just aches for sending pm's to wrong people...
