I'd rather have Braun take the title off of Brock than Roman at this point. I'm tired of the merry - go - round of Roman/Brock matches, it's getting to be as annoying as the multitude of Cena/Orton matches we had back in the day.

 

everyone should watch the wwe24 lots of tna footage as well as hearing what bishoff says during victory road

 

I think Braun will be the guy to beat Brock.

It's weird looking at the B block where I've got, like, five personal favorites, and contrasting that with the A block where even though I like plenty of those guys, I kind of just want to see Okada wreck everyone (other than everyone's Yakuza dad Suzuki).

Still, it's going to be a great summer for wrestling.

 

Okada is going to win though after that long reign he should move out of the picture for a while

yeah i know just find it funny how no one complains about okada being forced down throats yet some are complaining about styles still holding the belt

 

Some people were, but I think the general quality of his reign helped a lot, and there's also less of an expectation that the IWGP title is going to be changing hands frequently. The past, like, 20 years of WWE's booking have conditioned fans to expect frequent title changes.

 

As I said before, NJPW and WWE are two completely different philosophies.

There has been 7 different IWGP Champions since 2010. WWE has had 16.

 

so if okada gets it back at wk does naito just not get it or does ibushi turn on omega allowing naito to win to have

only problem is you then have the most over guy on the roster lose to okada at the biggest show twice in a row

This will be relevant to mostly @DarthTunick in that Jeanie Buss (current Laker's boss) is one of the forces behind the promotion.

 

NJPW likes to tell a story about experience with their top guys where you have to repeatedly main event WK to come out on top, even if you're the champ (c.r. Okada/Tanahashi matches), so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what they went with. Though I don't think we're getting *sexy jazz music* THE GOLDEN LOVERS EXPLODE at WK13, that seems like a longer story.

 

Block B of the G1 is basically the story of Ishii and how he’ll have a banger worth everyone in the block.

 

Just see the ending. The wrestling match is going to happen.

 

Seth is the guy.* There’s just no other way to put it, that sequence outside the ring to a near-pinfall was awesome and he elevates whoever he works with. The IC title is basically the RAW title with Lesnar appearing here and there.

(Sidenote I’ve really enjoyed Lesnar’s reign and while I agree it’s time for the title to return to recurrence, it’s been 10000x better than if Reigns had it)

Barely paid attention to Reigns/Jinder, looked up now and then and was like “This isn’t too shabby” and then that ridiculous punch flop happened and I just giggled.

AJ/Nakamura also seemed better than their previous fights but hopefully that’s over and AJ can get a different challenger (Samoa Joe pls)

Carmella is such a fun person to hate with how annoying she comes off.

Miz’s reaction to Braun breaking the ladder was an all-timer, it’s still so funny to me that Mike from the Real World became a legit WWE star but that Challenge-honed comedic timing makes sense.
