Hate to break it to you, but wrestling is actually full contact. You do know that, right?

 

Cena is confirmed to be in the Royal Rumble.

The rumour now is either The Undertaker or Goldberg.

But, I suspect it will be Styles (and he'll beat Cena); Vince won't have both Cena and Roman walking out as winners at the same Mania.

 

Still hoping for AJ vs Cena. If not then yeah I see Taker. Possibly even Batista.

 

Batista wants Triple H.

 

Imagine the hours of standing still and cold staring and more standing still building up to that one. And the idiot crowds will chant how awesome it is, too.

 

So Sid Vicious no - showed a wrestling event in Cleveland, and when the promoter finally managed to track him down and call him, this is what he said:

Won’t be watching until late afternoon, but I am excite.

 

I honestly think Jericho* is beating Omega.

Jay White is the match I wanna see. Callis, on his podcast, said Gedo believes White had the best excursion of any young talent; as someone pointed out, Okada didn't get this sort of push on his return.

And, safe to say, we're all on agreement that Naito is walking out as IWGP Champion (suspect LIJ will win all their matches at WK)

*At some point this year, Jericho will face Naito.

 

Safe to say, Jericho will be easily walking back into the WWE main event scene - if he returns.

The match was a masterpiece. Truly one of the best matches I have ever seen.

jericho is a goat late 40's and still putting out matches like that master of psychology

jay white was bad imo

 

okada vs naito was great but i cant take the destino as a serious finisher.

Well, that was quite simply a very, very bad booking decision.

 

terrible i can only guess they want to do ibushi or y2j vs okada

but some weird decisions tonight

As I've said all along, next year's main event will be Okada v Naito again

 

I think we’ll see a repeat of the 2015 champ booking. Omega being in the AJ role.

 

I don't think Omega will be the intermission champ. Not sure who it will be, maybe Tana*, but not Omega. Might be Kota (if he's actually signed a deal) because it might be the only way to get his match against Omega.

But, my little theory, Naito will get a match against Jericho. Seeds have been planted by both of them.

*Watching the old boy against Jay White, someone needs to convince Tana to take time off and get surgery. The poor guy sticks to the Dynamite Kid philosophy of "No one remembers healthy wrestlers" :/

 

Cannot wait to see this Saturday on AXS TV.

Whilst the actual wrestling at WK12 was amazing, the one aspect where WWE has them beat is in presentation. I was really surprised at how amateurish the graphics looked, like they're default fonts from Photoshop superimposed over video. Oh and the refs obviously hold their counts at the false finishes. That bugged me a fair bit.

The presentation is something NJPW said they wish to expand on. It is one of the reasons, according to them, their international growth was quite limited until recent years.

Nagata and Kojima gave high praise to Jericho on Twitter.
