Procrastination

It's about this time of the year that I really should be working. I have 6000 words due in a few weeks and an exam.

But what do I do? I come on the boards for an extensive period of time!

How about you? Should you be studying instead of being here? Should you be working instead of being here? Should you be mending the car? Doing the dishes? Building a house? Building an empire?

 

I have a paper that was due last week that is still only halfway done. The day I had set aside to work on it I ended up in the Emergency Room instead. Which is a good excuse. But now, tomorrow I've got this class and the Prof is going to be livid if I come in without it...

Meh.

I should be finishing off a play that I'm writing. I was told this morning that it is indeed in the festival I entered.

They might want a finished product at some point...but I just bought 'Tombstone' on dvd and I wanna watch it...and I have wings to construct...

It's a comedy, about the end of the world, it should be on in March (first couple of weeks of Uni and yes, you can come along definitely! I'll even give you a freebie ticket

 

Excellent. Comedies about the end of the world are my favourite. Well, at least Dr Strangelove is pretty good, and it fits both of those categories neatly. I look forward to it!

Well, he actually was a stupid git, but it is a lyric from a Beatles Song - "I'm so tired". (the beatles - and I - thought he was a stupid git because he introduced tobacco to europe and thus many of its colonies.

 

I thought it was mostly John Rolfe.

If there were names for perfect examples of procrastinators in the dictionary, it'd be a couple thousand pages longer, trust me.
