FF:WA Production thread for "The Path of Darkness"

Ok first things first:

1) I agree with what TW has said about this place getting nasty towards new comers. We've had that here in the past, infact WA is well known for this sort of thing and althou I find it rather fun myself to wage war upon others for a joke, some people may take offence to it and just give up on this place which is not whats it about. We've sorted our own problems out here without the help of RSA's etc before so lets sort this one out, I'm sure we can all show a little heart towards one another and work something out.

2) For those people out there dissin, for those people that didnt bother to attend and find out for themselves if this guy is serious or not, well rest assured I attended that day and it worked out rather productive. Ive read parts of the script and can say they DO have something good going here and what made it even better is that I received the role of a Sith's Sidekick, Sith App. Thanks guys!

I'm still going to help out in any of the movies that need to be shot on here in whatever I can if people require my help but I'm also going to continue doing what I do best on here, being a pain in the ass!

First of all I'd like to thank Dingbat for clearing up that mistake. Yes, we were using screen tests to cast the roles of our lead characters. The meeting was only a small event, just for the purpose of finalising the last few lead roles and running through a few fight exercises.

We will be holding a bigger meeting next week with the full leading cast in order to prepare for our first day of shooting.

For those that are wondering we need fx guys to do everything from matte backgrounds, coruscant scenes, ship models, etc. (by the way most of our fx stuff will be done in 3d studio max)

oh, and darth soup, we now know your true identity.

We'll be holding a rehearsal day on sunday the 9th of february for script readings and fight training. we'll be working from 10 till 4 at the trinity college hall (next to the WACA).

Just thought you'd like to know.

 

By the way we also need aliens and coruscant citizens for a chase scene.

So anyone who has an alien costume and is interested in a part as an extra, please contact us.

I never hid my true identity, and by the same token I now know a hell of a lot more about your production than you let loose on the boards.......If you had just been open about it, rather than shadow it all, a lot more people would have been willing to help out. Now that I have spoken to John, I know what is going on. A few straight answers to a few straight questions, thats all you really needed.

Hey guys, only one week to go until shooting starts on THE PATH OF DARKNESS.
We haven't secured the exact day yet but we'd like to know if anyone wants to help out on the day. We've already got heaps of crew members but there's no such thing as too many. SK I know you're interested. Just for anyone who's interested the scene we'll be filming takes place in the room of a thousand fountains in the jedi temple. We'll be shooting on location and compositing the footage with matte paintings.

 

I'm always in-ter-est-ed!

Is that the place we were talkin about up north here?
