Salisb, NC Prop Building: Tuskin Project Update

    Well, I finally cut out the leather for the Tuskin head this weekend. Now on to dying it the correct color and then fastening to the plastic mask. I have the robes done (Actually my wife did them) but need to weather them a little more. The hands, feet and accessories are still needed. The helmet is the hardest piece of this outfit but not that hard. The plastic paint primer is on and the helmet add on's are all cast, sanded, painted and ready for attachment now (I would love to have the metal set but not in budget right now).

    The sample I am borrowing is dryed out pretty bad so I may replace that leather for my friend if I get time. I also will be doing the wrappings in a movie accurate (Or close to it) material unlike the sample even though it looks REALLY good as is.

    I can't wait to see it! I know that as good as the rest of the props you make, it will turn out awesome!!
