    This thread has a good list of the threads that will have the types of help you're looking for. Lots of the people in there have made excellent tutorials about different kinds of lightsabers and give you the pros and cons of each material type. I know there is also a thread on the food capsules as well, just a matter of locating it.

    Im not sure if its still around, but there was a site called The Big Yellow Box or something similar that had extensive tutorials for different saber types.
