I was just snooping around eBay... and I ran across this Rebel Blaster Rifle. I was wondering, Joe, Chris and Alfredo, if you think we could maybe purchase something like this and then reproduce it via casting it? give me your thoughts. If this would be possible, we could make several rebel and imperial blaster rifles :D and that's a cool thought.

    Nice rifle.

I don't know about casting, but I could definitely (eventually) build a nice, mostly metal version. Trouble is, I'd need a much more expanded shop than what I have available to me right now.

Casting with resin is possible, but the cost of materials to make the mold with is prohibitive with an item that size.

Joe has a Klingon disrupter prop we still havn't replicated for that reason.

And speaking for myself, I'd rather have a Klingon
disrupter than a rebel blaster... :)

I found two E-11 Blasters on ebay, and thought the group, or Casey, to be more specific might be interested, since they're pretty cheap.
