Vancouver Proposals & The TSA. (The Matrix: Reloaded?)

H.R. MacMillan Space Centre: March or April, 2003.

Notes: Another Activity that I?ve recently been thinking about is us possibly checking out some exciting (not to mention interesting) exhibits/shows at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre which open on March 15th. This idea has really intensified as a result of the tragic loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia recently.

As we could easily put together a group of over ten of us, we could easily get a group/reduced rate for admission. Also, one of our esteemed members works at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre; hence, I?m sure he?d be willing to be our guide as well: a definite bonus!

What do you guys think?

Mine too! Thank you so much for your gracious offer, Richard. Five free passes is not only great news but also most appreciated. And if we have more than five members as expected, we could pool the totally cost of admission, so that everyone just pays a small fraction of the regular admission rate.

[b][color=darkblue]Notes[/b][/color]: Okay, this really isn?t going to be a formal [b][color=darkblue]Activity[/b][/color], but those of you, who over 19 years of age and into hip-hop/R&B, are more than welcome to join my friends and I on our yearly pilgrimage to [b]The Gorge[/b] at George (in Washington) for [b]Summer Jam 11[/b]. [face_happy] Before I go any further though, I should warn everyone that ticket prices tend to be quite steep ($135 [i]Cdn[/i]. last year) and you have to buy them on their date of release (as tickets sell out quickly). [face_shocked] But if you're into the music, I think you'll agree that the high ticket prices are well worth it, as the line-up of artsists that perform at [b]SJs[/b] is usually stacked. I?m definitely going to be going to the midnight premiere, and anybody and everybody is totally welcome to join me. Also, we can totally see this as a group too; so just post and let us know if you?re interested.

 

Hi, everyone! I was fortunate enough to watch The Matrix: Reloaded last night, and I must say that it rocked! As I'm sure that there's a significant portion of you who haven't seen it yet, I won't drop any spoilers. But what I will say though is that the Wachowski brothers really brought things to the next level in Reloaded. The fight scenes were insane, the chase scenes were amazing, some great new secondary characters were introduced, and there were several unexpected plot twists.

N-E-ways, I?m not sure if you guys want to see it as a group (so I won?t be arranging anything until there is some interest voiced); but if you do, it definitely something that we can do as an Activity, so don?t hesitate to speak up.

 

I would like to see Reloaded - but I may be seeing it this weekend already with a bunch of my Ultimate Frisbee crowd. Nothing's been finalized yet though, so I guess whichever group gets a plan together first is the one I'll go with (well, location would be a factor as well.) My preferred theatre is SilverCity Metropolis, or Richmond could be do-able too.

OMG, yes.

Since I'm in BC I missed my usual con (Anime North) and was all depressed about it. Maybe I'll have a reason to finish that guu costume afterall

I'll bring back my CCS costume with me when I go home this weekend just incase I do go to that.
