Protocol droids - how long can they go without recharging?

    How long can potocol droids like 3PO go on without recharging?

    3PO shuts down in Ben's cave, to conserve powewr. How often do they need recharging?

    I don't think there is a certain limit to shut down and recharge on protocol droids, but I guess once in a while they should for repairing (like in TESB).

    I think C-3PO was just resting. Like how we humans rest. Lucas was trying to show how in a GFFA, droids are similar to humans. After all, droids do feel pain.
