Feeling particularly proud of yourself?! I am, so I've created this thread.

I am proud of the following:

:) My brother is expecting his first child and they just found out it's a boy!

:) I'm going to my sister's graduation - she's getting her pharmacist PhD! She's 34 and she's worked hard to get it!

:) As of this summer, I will be a 5 year survivor of breast cancer! Go me!

:) I just recently got a huge raise at work! (I guess that makes up for having to work with a bunch of slimeballs.)

:) I have a super-duper wonderful boyfriend and we get to go on a cruise to Mexico this summer that we just bought the tix for! Yeah!

    WOO HOO!!! CONGRATS!!!!

Right now, I'm proud of the fact that I've finally got to writing again. This time, I may even have a story worth publishing someday. I hope.

I will when it is finished. I've been working on it like a mad woman of late. My main problem right now...trying not to edit the crap out of it.

I'm about 42 pages into it so far.

I've always been wierd about my stories. I don't even let my family read them till they are finished. I'm pretty picky that way.

Wenchy: A writer AND a poet. Fine qualities in a veritable demi-goddess.

Rhisnnon: My mom is a cancer survivor, too, and I just have to say that I am touched by the sheer strength of character in the people who choose to fight against cancer tooth and nail. That you are a survivor is just a testament to your character. Good for you. ;) Congrats.

Hey, that sounds like fun. I don't need much persuasion to go run. I love it. And it'll be for a good cause.

Running isn't a plan! It's what you do when the plan fails! ;)

Seriously, though. I'll prolly be in Sandy Eggo by then. Oh well.

I bought my P.A. and I am starting my band

I have a great job related to my degree.(even though i get paid no where near what i should)

I have a great family & family of friends (on both coasts)who support EVERYTHING I do.

and I have accepted change to become so much of a better person than I was 3 1/2 years ago in NJ. Which is more than most people do in a lifetime.

    - Springtime in the Rockies! At noon yesterday it was in the 50's (up at Grand Lake), then we went horseback riding and before we headed back the snow started to fall... By the time I woke up to leave this morning more than 5 inches had fallen [face_love] And IT'S MAY!!!!!!! Who's worried about that camping trip now? ;)

    - Good friends that know exactly what you need to clear your mind and free your soul from worry. :D

Just like Wenchy I'm writing a book.

But I'm doing it just for fun. I doubt publishers would take me seriously since I'm only 16. But my book still rocks.

The writing muse must be working overtime lately. I've been writing, too. (Not really a book, and I'm not going to tell you guys what, just because I'm not ready for people I actually know in the real world to read it. Maybe when it's finished. I'm weird about this stuff, too. [face_blush])

Someone who reviewed it called my work (MY work! :D) "utterly brilliant." I've read some of this person's writing and liked it a lot, so that really made my day. :D

I tell you, a person can't hear (or read, in this case) stuff like that enough.

Can you say my book is Utterly Brilliant?

Just so I can tell people that someone said that about my book. Go ahead say it.
