The shops my way seem to be selling off the cheaper versions of lightsabres (red, blue, green and white, sorry no tutti frutti.) Is anyone still looking for one? They seem to be ranging in price between $4-10. The most expensive being the double lightsabre. I can just bring it along next movie night if someone is interested.

Where are these shops? I've been trying to locate a decently priced Obi saber for ages!

Hey, and I could use a Ep1 Obi sabre as well. Really cheap though cause I'm gonna hack it apart for the handle (to use as the base of my Royal Guard Force Pike)

Dixie Mall, mississauga. I will definately get you an Obi-wan sabre Kenobi. What about you Avatar? Wanna blue one at the same time? (Warning the packaging is creased. But if you plan to take it out of the package then no problem.)

OooOOOOoo!! Yes please? I have *no* idea how I'm going to pick it up from you but... :) Can you get a TPM blue Obi-Wan saber for me please? How much are those going for? I'm guessing these are the fully retractable ones?

    Thanks Shmi!

Yes, Av, gonna hack it open, I just need the base, specifically, the bottom of the base. :p

Sniff..I'm very sorry, apparently the boxing day mob (you have to be a saddist to go out on boxing day these days) bought them all. They still had green and white ones but I realize that's not what you are looking for. If I see anymore in my travels I will definately pick them up.

I think I saw some Obi ones at the new TRU by Warden and 7 (Near 400 & 7)

I'll probably be out that way again soon, I can pick up a couple if they've still got them.

Oops, that would be Weston and Hwy 7, not Warden... so it is actually near 400 and 7 ;-)

I guess that's what you get when you post after 4 AM and some champagne.

I may be out that way tomorrow, if they've got any I'll pick a couple up.

Okay, they've got Obi Sabers for $8, the White ones for $6 and Maul ones for something like 10 or 12.

Just curious, but have any of you, especially those into costumes, considered MAKING prop lightsabers?

I've built five myself, and it's not THAT difficult or costly, depending on what you want to achieve.

Hang on, I'll find a link so you can see a couple I built...

Please excuse the text, it was from a fast email I included and he just pasted it in.

Anyway, you should get the idea.

A cou[ple of people have made their lightsabres but buying the plastic one is cheaper for costuming and it still photographs well. Of course, some people just want to play with them...!
