    Awesome!

You should so do it!! I have pics from one of my Thrawn boards of a guy who did one. Granted he's from Europe but I can dig up the images and show you.

    If you want. :)

He is Chiss, a humoid species with black hair, blue skin, and glowing red eyes. His real name is Mitth'raw'nuruodo or "Thrawn" for short. He was a danger, not because of his fleets, but because of his mind.

Jammie, all Thrawn is, is an over-grown Smurf. He's from the first SW novels to come out in a long time, back in 1991-92, Heir To The Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command, commonly known as "the Thrawn trilogy", natch. ;) They, along with the comic series Dark Empire jump-started SW fandom again. Grand Admiral Thrawn was the head of what was left of the Empire in the books.

    *shakes her head**

Why am I not surprised by the smurf remark from you pumpkin.....

Jaimme, some feel he was the greatest non-Force user villian. Me being on of them. :)
Granted, he was from the books, but like Mara Jade they felt the need to make a CCG card of him (granted it looks awful!) and a action figure.

    and

    [image=http://www.rebelscum.com/toys/gwthrawn.jpg]

I did these back in 96 or 97 I think. Talk about some old-school customs ;)

I keep meaning to redo the 3 3/4" thrawn, but like a ton of my other projects, I'll never get to it I'm sure...

I believe I have already posted my thoughts about Grand Admiral Thrawn hehe...no need to repeat them. While he was a pretty good admiral he suffered from teh same malady the late Palpy did....overconfidence

I remember seeing those conversions and the set you did for Twin Engines of Destruction and thinking there was no way in hell anything could be any cooler. Little did I know at that time that you were a local. I liked your thrawn better than the actual hasbro one sitting on my wall. The head on it is way too large.

I always thought the TEOD set was some of my best work. I really like the SOTE Guri and Leebo as well...

I swear I just don't have the time I used to when it comes to custom figures. Thats really sad too cause my sculpting ability is sooo much better... :(

Gary, I remember seeing those on the net. Years ago and I was blown away by them! had no idea someone from here did those until about a year back.

Ed, yeah he did have overconfidence, but I still think he's damn cool. :D

Thank you guys for clearing that up for me:) I didn't even realize they did comics or books of SW until I met Mike. I only thought SW was a few movies I grew up watching, and some cool toys I had as a child. I had no idea about any of the other stuff or all of the people who were into it!
Thanks for being so patient w/ us SW challenged folks :D

I think they pass out a heapin helpin of overconfidence at the imperial academy when they give them thier uniforms... because EVERY major Imperial figure suffered hugely from it. "blah blah blah Greatest power in the universe blah blah blah invincible blah blah"
