Seems like a perfectly appropriate variant, but whatever.

But since you were expressing disappointment with the environments of the GFFA given to us by the new Lucasfilm, I'm curious to see if you think this planet meets your standard of beauty or not. IMO, it's an otherworldly landscape (black sand, light green accents), whilst being clearly real (it is Iceland after all). It's the kind of environment that seems to meet the desires of both OT and PT fans, in that sense, and so I'm struggling to understand why you dislike it.

But somehow, deep inside of me, I also think that the release of TFA made me in some ways appreciate more the PT and OT even if I still like TFA.

Jimmy Smits & the RotS version of Mon Motma in R1. Also the character from TCW in the movie. Loads of TCW/Prequel references & characters in Rebels, and they might be releasing the PT in 3D!

I thought Lucasfilm was ignoring the Prequel era??

 

Goalposts moved man, now "we" are upset cause they don't have enough aliens or the planets look like earth.

Well, if we talk about actual material taking place inside the prequel era, yes they are. And they cancelled TCW in favor of making Rebels.

 

Would've been nice to finish TCW. Still the Prequel era had 14 years of wall to wall content. More than any other period. Can't exactly say it was shortchanged.

 

Again, this argument doesn't work since there was constant material produced for the OT era in the 90's and 00's aswell. I don't understand why some people still bring this up.

 

Nowhere near as much as for the PT in that period. Fact is the PT era still has more on-screen canon content than any other era.
