Still a bit unclear, SB and Ilum happening to be at the exact (or almost) same spot, is it really supposed to be a coincidence, or would that mean it's another ice planet in the same system? ...

I suspect that Ben "Obi-wan" Kenobi would be able to tell us whether or not Starkiller Base was Ilum. Unfortunately, he's dead.

Oh thank goodness. After coming to this page and reading the first few posts, I though Disney Lucasfilms went and did something crazy like making Ilum the base for Starkiller base. That would have been ridonculous.

 

i thought it would make perfect sense if it was ilum.

I can't wait to read this book. I didn't like how they wrote Leia as not forgiving Anakin in the old EU, so I really hope they approach her at a new angle since it could be a really interesting story.

 

Um yeah she did. Anakin Solo remember?
Just because she didn't accept Anakin half-way through Truce at Bakura doesn't mean she didn't. She was coming to terms with it somewhat at the end of the story.

Oh. My mistake. Post ROTJ EU was never my favorite era. I read the Thrawn books and Fate of the Jedi. I liked all of them, but it was just too much for me to keep track of. Lol

Either way I'm excited to read this one!

 

Wookiepedia and or Timeline Gold are your friend. Just pick another book and keep going. 1, or 2, or 3 books at a time.
Her worrying about having a kid that goes dark was a fear as well. Pretty justified. Pity they had to actually go that route later on.
This book will be interesting to say the least.
