Blimey! One more post in over one hour!! Things are really hotting up in here!

Just had a corporate buffet...attempted chatting up yet another female to little or no success...ho hum! Still no reply from the other one either...ho hum...

 

Anyone else have constant car trouble or is that just an American thing?

 

Do you mean trouble as in damaging the car alot... I do that to Mum's car at least once a month This month I was reversing into the driveway when I kind of sort of ended up driving into the wall Not much damage though, just a scratch onthe bumper. Needless to say I am never revesing into the driveway again

 

I meant problems with your car that cheap manufacturers and ignorant mechanics cause, but if we're talking about damage caused by me...welllll....I do that too. I've wrecked every car I've ever driven. Lemme see....

My mom's mini-van I totaled. Wasn't my fault though! Some nitwit stopped in the middle of the road.

My step dads BMW and Mercedes...sorry about that, Bill! Once again, not my fault!

My mom's Lexus, I kinda sorta well....she still doesn't know it was me...kinda scratched it on a bush. Who in their right mind puts thorn bushes that close to a driveway, I ask you?!

Only one of my parents cars I never wrecked was my dream car. The car my mom leased, not because she liked it, but because she was trying to drive me mad with envy; A six cylinder, cherry red, 95 Ford Mustang convertible. She wrecked that one.

My cars..well, I've kinda wrecked all of them too. There was my first car; n 81 Dodge Aris fondly named Piece of ****. I backed her up into a fence, rear ended someone at a stop light and kinda side swiped a wall.

My second car was an 89 Plymouth Sundance (not that any of you have a clue what any of these cars are, but I'm on a roll) named Burgy. She was actually more of a Wine red but I liked the name Burgy so I told everyone she was burgandy. They all thought I was color blind. Oh well. Anyway, I side swipped a tree and rear ended someone in that one. Then, while I was driving around looking for a new car, I kinda ran her right into a foot tall cement embankment....good thing I was car shopping at the time.

The car I've got now, a 95 Mercury Mystique, I've only wrecked once, thank you very much! Ran into some woman trying to get out of the Post Office parking lot. Although I still swear she didn't have her turn signal on, the insurance company said it was my fault.

And just for the record, knowing all this, CA was still brave enough to climb into my car and was returned home unscratched, undented and pretty much untraumatized....we hope and pray.

 

Looks like I've got meself a date! Woohoo!! Back in the game and playing at peak performance!!

I get really bad road rage which has sort of caused me a few arguments...

Hey! We would STILL be sitting there if I hadn't cut the van off! And I told you and Christy my car could jump that curb and it did just fine, thank you very much!

 

I almost got smashed into by a lorry once... it was that close to hitting us... the idiot was turning right but he was neither indicating and in the bloddy wrong lane... I was hardly to blame.

Needless to say I hate lorries now, and buses,and old people on the road that stick to the speed limit. I was 20 minutes late for a tutorial at uni once cos I was stuck behind some silly old cow that seemed to think she would get done for speeding doing 15mph
