With Kimmorley out and Finch in, it's former Bronco teammates against current Rooster teammates. The odds are stacking more and more away from the Cane Toads. :(

It'll make the victory even sweeter :D

And what's this I hear about Ferraris winning after Toyotas and Williams getting DQ'ed?

    Oh yeah, very sweet victory.
2 out of three is better in this case.

Go Brighty in the V8s! I don't care who's winning these rounds, be it Murph, Kelly, Richards, just as long as those stupid Fords don't win.. :D

Bugger that I can't go to the V8s this weekend out at Ipswich, I'd been able to make it the last 3 years. Working weekends sucks.

    Go Holden!

Go Scud! Meh Leyton. Come back Dokic, sans Daddy!

    And Queenslander!

Next Monday night (5th July) the next round of the Champ Cars is on, but this time it's at Cleveland, Ohio. If you're only mildly into Cart/Champ Cars, you have to watch this race! The Cleveland round is on their Municipal AIRPORT. Yep, Champ Cars racing on Runways, Taxiways and the like. Awesome. =D=

There is NOTHING to stop the great man, Lance Armstrong, from taking his SIXTH CONSECUTIVE Tour De France.
Amazing, simply amazing. And he fought Testicular Cancer a few years ago, and still won.

The Senna, the Bradman, of Cycling. Oh, and he's with Sheryl Crow, too. :p

I think not having testicles would be an advantage in bike riding.

    (sorry bout that)

I think he's still got one...
in any case, he's a prime example of what being so close to death can do to a man. Pain is nothing to him, he just pushes past it, further than anyone else can. His is truly one of THE great achievements in sports.

The Hill climb stage the other night just proved that you're not only as good as your team towing you. Lance dominated start to finish.

And I think that climb is more significant as a breaker at the end of a 180km stage rather than a 15km climb. Imo.

    - Lance is the champion...again. 6 years running.

    - Schumacher takes yet another race win again in the most boring F1 of seasons, championship wise. There's enough crashes to keep me interested.

    - There's any of 6 drivers in contention to win the V8 championship this year, 2 Ford drivers, 4 Holden drivers. Go Brighty! Or Richards!

    - "Concussion-based Amnesia" now seems a valid excuse for bashing someone else on a footy field. Go figure.

    Grumble grumble.. Ambrose wins again..

We've got a good close V8s Championship this year.. I hate it! :p I want the Holdens out in front by a mile! It's too close to call a winner for the season..

And as much as I love it, having only 4 of 18 cars with poential to win the CART Championship is boring. A bit like the F1, with 1 of 18 cars being able to win. :p

But onya Mark Webber for scoring a seat (the LEAD seat!) with Williams for next year. His co-driver? Button?

First time in this thread..be gentle!

Just wanted to agree and say ONYA MARK WEBBER!..a real car and this guy may be unstoppable!

And I'm also a bit of Ford girl so it's really nice to have a close V8 championship. I used to follow Cameron Mclean when he raced and got pretty bored with the whole Skaifey wins thing. And I do still go WOOHOO when his car doesn't make it to the finish..sad really aren't I.

Oh and just to let you know in case I don't show my face here again..if it's not motorsport, it's not real sport :)..unless it's the Olympics of course and then I seem to watch ANYTHING!

I don't think you're the odd one out, Kahlan. ;)

Plus I thought this thread could be for everything non-olympic.. of which there's still a lot going on.

I see Webber winning 3 or so races next year. With the FIA restricting the rules a bit (read: against Ferrari :p ), and Williams slowly improving, he's in with a chance. Button too if he ends up there.

But my fingers are crossed for Ryan Briscoe getting an F1 drive. He's proved himself in F3.

I think the position of thread Nazi is already taken Goob.

Bad day today, Justine lost, ahh well, it's just tennis.

Go Lleyton! Main dangers are Roddick and Federer.
Haas is next but Lleyton should have his number.

I was so annoyed when Geelong lost to Brisbane. It looks like the Lions are going to win their 4th flag
    :(

    Go Port!
