thanks Iverna! I'm going to do that with the spot of white in the eye and see if I can make it work. I LOVE that picture of Jag. And you did a great job of explaining!

edit #1: So I really like this batch of pieces. There's also two more that I'm in the middle of, but I sort of hit a stumbling block with them so they're not done yet. Some here are SW and a few are not, but here they are :

Ta'a Chume's eyes. I wanted to make something where you can see her face veil, or at least my version of it, and have her eyes up close, but I sort of got bored with it and didn't finish coloring it. The gold band would be the beginning of the veil. I still like the eyes, though, so here it is.

Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon. I loved that show when I was little, I though it was so cool. I also did a Sailor Jupiter, but the proportions are a little messed up so I might not finish it.

these are a very nice lot of drawings... you improved on the faces ^__^
have you thought about using markers ? you can get much bolder and better shadings. I think it suits your style too.

Good start... I'd like to see the finished veil thing, it would look really nice
just the nose is a bit of a weird shape. I usually do noses more like the one on Corran. I wouldn't draw the bridge of the nose because it makes it look flat, just shade it ^__^

Corran:
The hair is very good and also the nose ^__~ I think the proportions are right, but his face definitely need to thin out.
it reminds me I did a drawing of corran like, 2 years ago ! I never posted it... do you want to see it ? lol ^__^

you're very good at designing costumes ! I love her dress ^_____^ pretty

It's a very good work ^__^ I like the definition on the arms they're much perfect. overall the anatomy looks really good...
the only thing that bothers me is it doesn't look like her neck connects to one of her shoulders !! I always draw the body shape first then the clothes... and keep that shape even if the clothes are wider.

hank and dean:
i don't know venture bros, but it looks fine to me. nice expressions. hank's head is too round, but if its a game is that just the style ?

sailor moon:
loool sailor mooooonnnnn ^__^ I used to watch it. the proportions is good. limbs a bit thin. but I love her hair hehe !

 

Thank you very much! I have wanted to do markers actually, it just comes down to me going to the store and getting some I'd love to see your Corran drawing! I love Jaina's dress too - I just found a picture like and I just started drawing the body. I actually wanted it to be Tenel Ka, but I had already drawn in both arms The neck on Mara bothers me too. I tried moving it around and that was the best that I could get it
