    How many registered users are there on these boards? I'm putting together a paper on the Star Wars fan community and I'm trying to get some statistics. Thanks.

    Your question is really hard to answer, because there's no way to say how many people are at these boards, because of various reasons:

    1. Everyone is allowed to create as many socks as they want. So some users are registered more than once.
    2. Not all registered users are still active.
    3. Not all registered users have ever been actice (aka have posted).
    4. Plus some users are active / not active on and off.

    So how can we say a certain number? I'm sorry that we can't really help. :(

    If you look at our Users Online page, you'll see that there are 244,039 total users. However, that figure includes sock accounts, users banned for one reason or another, and inactive users as Skiara mentioned above.

    I am the sock of MM and 27 other people if you go up the chain. Gunny is my sock, and Kyp is his sock. Plus all the other ones no one's told me about. Family history...:rolleyes:
    By this logic there are around 7000 different users over the years. And then the ones that don't post. :p
