Evan, IN Question for collectors

I'm wanting to sell a lot of carded figures on eBay (POTF2 through TPM). I'm not really interested in getting a tremendous amount of money--I just want them out of my house. My question is: how do I package them so they won't be destroyed in transit?

 

How many are we talking and will this be sold as 1 big lot?

 

And if not, got any ships?

 

Box in a Box is my advice.

Bubble wrap item and put into box, then bubble wrap box and put into larger box.

ref bubble wrap (scavenging is not a bad way to get some of this free)

The item will be light and it should survive the U.S. Mail (cheapest way to ship),

unless your buyer wants it shipped the most expensive way and with insurance.

Note, If insurance is requested by your buyer, be sure to keep specific records
of everything you can (including photo copies of payment methodes)

for should their be a clain, you may become part of the proceess and
more is better when giving the post office or your buyer info,
and always keep back up copies for your self.

Just my thoughts from having gone through this with a very nice seller
on ebay once. But then, this was once in over 3300 auctions over 8 years.

However, it I had to do it over, I would just through any item under $25.00
away, it just cost more to do (from a buyers perspective), than the money I got back.

But, for the one time I did it, I learned alot and made a good relationship with a seller
that I went back to many times

ALSO, always put your item up for bid, never use buy-it-now (sorry fellow buyers)
but for a seller, always put the price you want as your opening bid.

you can lower it if it does not sell. (but research your item first to see what it is selling for)

try to get your auction to end on Sunday night, when almost everyone is home and can be on line.

cause everyone seems to be selling and flooding the market.

Probably one big lot, or at the very least, a couple of big lots.
