    Hey I'm working on a Star Wars Fan Film and I need a freeware program that can produce lightsaber effects along with blasters, etc.
    does anyone here know of a good program like that?

    It's called searching this site first. There's a link up there called Tutorials, try that out.

    A link in there has a list of software programs that do lightsaber FX.
