    Is there a difference between a Dark Jedi and a Sith? i had a weird dream about it last night, where I asked Master Yoda (huh?)

    Yes, Sith are pale and sickly. Dark Jedi spend more time in the son.

    Joke Joke.

    Dark Jedi are Jedi that abandon the order, give in to the darkside, etc.
    Sith are formally trained and have Masters.
    Samurai = Jedi
    Ronin = Dark Jedi
    Ninja = Sith

    A Dark Jedi is someone with Force abilities that turns to the dark side. A Sith is a Dark Jedi but follows Sith teachings or is being training to become a Sith Lord.

    Yeah pretty much what they ^^^^ said. Sith are formal dark Jedi.

    What they said.

    Dark Jedi are just sith-wanabees(Kyp), brainwashed fools/clones(C'Baoth), etc.
    The Sith are The Real Deal.

    Some would say that the term "Dark Jedi" was used in the EU way back when the PT-era stuff weren't really mapped out by Lucas yet (EU ideas about stuff like clone wars and Boba's origins are very different from the PT movies). Hence the whole "Dark Jedi" and no mention of the "Rule of two".

    From what I see of the PT movies, it's only "Jedi" or "Sith", no "Dark Jedi" or "Light Sith" (har har!).

    really? wouldn't have expected this in Saga of all places.

    but you just reminded me that this thread is not CT specific at all. Thank you.
