questions about the EU

Ok, I am a solid EU reader, etc, but I have two questions for anyone who can answer them.

1) I am planning an RPG mission and would like to know as much as anyone can tell me about the system known as Karfeddion. Trust me, this has a purpose.

2) I am interested in knowing if anyone has some insight into the jedi order circa 900 years before the movies. This would be approx 100 years after the sith wars final battles. Specifically, i need to know the following things: 1) Was the Chu'Unthor already in use at this time? 2)Was there a jedi council and where did they sit(especially necessary if the ship was in use at this point). All I can find is that the ship was downed about 400 years before the movies, which would be approximately around the time yaddle was born.
Anyway, if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!
