I'm complaining that my class is so boring I've decided to Haskett the boards.

Plus my back hurts from carrying my laptop.

APL, you are Hasketting the boards, you are pulling a Haskett, the noun version, remember?

You don't have to call me. What I wanted to ask you has already been done. But you can call if you wanna chat.
Take lots of pictures, and beware of those Jawas.. disgusting creatures. Wait, you're not a droid.

    Guy's rules..........

At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down. Finally, the

guys' side of the story. (I must admit, it's pretty good.)

We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules
from the male side. These are our rules!

    1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.

We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining

    about you leaving it down.

    2. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

    3. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

    4. Crying is blackmail.

    5. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:

    Subtle hints do not work!

    Strong hints do not work!

    Obvious hints do not work!

    Just say it! Mother's Day?

    6. Yes, and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

    7. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.

Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

    8. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.

    9. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In

fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.

    10. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't expect us

to act like soap opera guys.

    11. If you think you're fat, you probably are.

    don't ask us.

    12. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways

makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

    13. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both.

If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

    14. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

    15. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.

    16. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach,

for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have

    no idea what mauve is.

    17. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.

    18. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like

nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

    19. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer

    you don't want to hear.

    20. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is

    fine...Really.

    21. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to

discuss such topics as baseball, the shotgun formation, or monster trucks.

    22. You have enough clothes.

    23. You have too many shoes.

    24. I am in shape. Round is a shape.

    25. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight;

but did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.

    :D :D =D= [face_laugh]

No. 5 is so incredibly true. I used to say to Mr. DH that my old sweater was getting ratty and it took two more years of strong hints before I finally just said, "I need a new sweater. It would be a good Christmas gift."

I loved that so much, i'm putting it on myspace. It is all so true.
Except the fat one. I need some reassurance sometimes, and I"M NOT FAT> I just want to know what a man thinks.

I'm back from DV! It was one of the best trips ever. The weather was perfect, not too hot during the day and the evenings just couldn't have been better. The company was the best. 27 people total showed up. Everyone got along. We got to see many of the locations that Star Was and ROTJ were shot.

D-B, thanks for the tent. It was great. It may be a bit dusty. I'll try to clean it again.

I wish some of you guys could have come too. Next stop Endor!

Glad you had fun on your trip, SR. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Someone tried to steal the cover off my MG again but was thwarted by the lock. Stupid person. Get a job.

Meesa back, too! North Carolina was pretty, and we had lots of rain. I ate hush puppies for the first time! I didn't know what they were at first and had to ask what the heck was on my plate. Locals laughed very hard! I liked them -- they were very tasty! Anyway, I had a hard time seeing that many trees at once...I felt apprehensive: the trees are going to get me! I'm surrounded! Aaaaagh!

JB. That's how I feel about my hometown. I just felt trapped by all those trees. Not very many trees out in Death Valley.

I can't believe you never had hush puppies! We always had them when we had fish fries. Fried fish, French fries, and hush puppies. I actually made some the other night for ES when we watched Arrested Development. It was the first time I had made them and they were a bit greasy.

Welcome back, JB. I hope it was a successful trip.

I washed and waxed my car this weekend. I think from now on I will hire someone to wax my car. There's too much surface area.

We did not go to D-land because my padawan had a Scout Meeting. Instead, I spent part of the day in bed because my back hurt. I don't know why. Today it feels better.

Matt: Problems come and problems go, but friends remain. You're a good friend, and I'm glad to know you. Bowl tomorrow night, and enjoy life, because life's not very long, and there's pleasure to be taken in such simple things as bowling with your good buddies. I love Star Wars, and so do you. That is all. [:D]

I have nothing to complain about. I got up early, went to the gym. Had a great workout. I then got to the office and called my grandmother. It's her birthday, she turns 77 today. I asked what she was going to do and she said she was going to buy herself a new car. Go Granny!

Happy Birthday SR's Granny! That's so cool. I don't have any complaints either, other than that I have to take my car in to be smogged today for its registration. Never fun, but it'll be good to have that out of the way since I start my awesome new job tomorrow! [face_whistling]:D Whoo-hoo! I'm wondering if I should have that mac and cheese for lunch again, SR. Did you say it came in half-orders? Sooo yummy! SR, do you do your workouts at the gym there? What time? Oh, I guess I can bother you with all the exciting questions tonight...

Happy Birthday Granny SR! A new car is a great gift to oneself.

Thursday is such an odd day to start working, JB. Good luck! You're going to blow them away!

I would post this in the Review section but it's not really a review but DB locked the thread somehow. How does he have that power? Any way, JB, we have a VHS set of W&G. I'll ask Mr. DH (it's his set) to see if I can lend it to you guys.
