    psh, CSUN...

(and before someone gets offended, I give one guess as to where I've been attending for the last 4 1/2 years)

also, Steve and Barry's rocks. I spent $100 there for clothes for europe, and managed to get 2 pairs of pants, 6 long sleeve shirts, and 2 jackets.

OMG, get me the address!!! Sounds like they've got some great prices!!

My thought for today: (and it has nothing to do with an 'ex')

Parents suck, students suck, my principle sucks!

Thank you for your kind attention. Please continue on with your day! :D

The good news is that the pipes in my house didn't freeze last night! I hope that continues for a few more nights!

3rd and La Cienega is one location. Everything in the store $8.98 it's a sale that could end at any time.

    I'm not a parent, a student, or a principal so I don't suck. Yay!

Don't forget to run your water so your pipes don't freeze.

That's why they didn't freeze. Both of the dog water bowls were frozen solid this morning, though. I dumped their kiddy pool and put it in the shed yesterday because it's been so cold that it wasn't even thawing completely out by the end of they day. Yet, they still felt the need to play in it, ice and all. Ugg!

You're right SR, you don't suck!

Wow and I thought it can get cold here.

    Where do you live, Siberia?

Some people think so, but it's actually closer to the Outer Rim. On a map, I'm about halfway between Victorville and Wrightwood (Mt. High ski area).

And yet you've not invited us to go skiing. What's that about?

Please, feel free to come to the mountain and ski whenever the urge hits you. I'll bring hot chocolate and sit in the lodge and save a table for whoever comes.

What can I say? I don't do cold!

    So, please considered yourselves invited!

    Double post:
The Star Wars Vault by Stephen Sansweet, originally priced at $85. At the Barnes & Noble in Victorville, they've got them clearanced down to $19.95. With my educators discount, I got it for $15. Then I used a couple of partial gift cards. Ended up paying 15 cents for it.

Wow that's a discount! I got 35% off mine but you win with only paying .15 cents.

My roommate bought a new trashcan for the kitchen. It's super high tech you wave your hand in front of it and it opens for you.

Are you sure you're not using the Force to open the trash can? Well, just tell your friends that you are, they'll be impressed.

The Star Wars Vault is only $19? Wow. I got ripped off.

Wow, all this talk of shopping makes me want to go and do some myself, but I can't. Spent too much in Florida. Meesa back! And feeling the back to work blues. I'll have pictures up at some point (all 400 of them).

One good piece of job news is that they're finally training me on Star Tours next week!

Wow. Heath Ledger is dead. I was looking forward to seeing him as the Joker in the new Batman movie. He looks creepy in that movie, now it'll be even more creepy.

Yeah! Welcome back, APL and congrats on getting on Star Tours. Hope you had a great trip.

Heath Ledger is dead. My co-worker told me before I left the office. Really weird and very unfortunate. I guess the Joker won't be in any more Christian Bale Batman movies.

Just so you know I am planning another group meeting soon. I'm thinking Italian and I know that Buca di Beppo is good and can seat a large crowd. There are various places through out the city from the west side to Pasadena to Universal to Encino. Thoughts ideas? I'm pretty open to dates except for the 10th (old friend's bd, I've know them longer than you guys) and then the 16th I'm going to the Doctor Who Convention.

I really don't like that place. It's too expensive considering how much you get.
