i am all kinds of over the 3D trilogy. I hope lucas also employs squirting technology and smellovision while he's at it.

 

I think those are the lines from Titanic JB just with the names changed. SJ was just being silly. Wouldn't it be nice to have smells and stuff while watching a movie. I bet we aren't that far off from stuff like that.

 

Whew! That's a relief...I'm just extra-sensitive because I read a major spoiler or three on one of my NON-Star-Wars boards this morning. I'm very unhappy about it.

And yes, I want to smell Jabba. No wait: Obi-Wan!

 

Yes, we need Boss Nass spitting all over us, and the smell of the sarlacc burp and the opie fart wafting through the theater. THAT'S entertainment!

 

Can he at least release the original OT and not the remade one?

at this point, i've resigned myself to the SEs and am just hoping he doesn't delete them too and release the 3D versions on DVD as the new "official" versions of the films.

I am with DH all the way on this. I will never ever buy Star Wars on DVD unless it's the original original. If I have to live with my memories once my tapes die then so be it.

Thank you for your support, NP. I'm sorry if I am annoying everyone because I still carry a torch for the original OTs. They were the movies that we all fell in love with. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

I broke down and wrote to GenCon, but I'm sure they're going to ignore it, because they will have gotten thousands of the same message over the weekend. I understand from reading the TF.N CIII boards that a lot of orders are messed up. That's not very reassuring, either. How hard can it possibly be to set something like this up? It's not like they haven't had practice.

 

You know, I thought about writing but decided I would wait until Wednesday. This way if it was due to the USPS then Wednesday would provide all the time needed. Any longer than that would be due to GenCon.

I just watched it! It was long! 15 minutes! A lot happened. Man! Why can't the movies be this good?

 

That was sort of a question that was asked at the presentation on Saturday. Genndy danced around that question really good. He just kept saying that they were different stories and George has so many things that he must touch on whereas the cartoon can just be kick butt lightsaber action.

 

Okay, I have a bit of an ethical dilemna (did I spell that right?). I would like some help. If I got something that is not exactly what I wanted but better than what I wanted, do I alert them or just chalk it up to good luck? I am leaning towards my natural tendancy towards the Dark Side. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.
