alright I got it started now lets see some answers. This way we'll know a little bit more about one another so we can have some good threads going on in here

1 I love the NJO and can't wait till Rebirth comes out
2 I go to Starwars.com, Both local sites, aldera.net, Jedinet.com, lots of others but my mind is drawing blanks
3 I didn't start collecting until recently
4 my favorite piece is the old record books from the eighties RotJ I've also got a pretty cool collectors story
5 I live on the NW side of OKC
6 I've lived in OKC for 20 out of 22 years
7 I was in the hospital and my mom brought me up Heir to the Empire and the rest is history
8 I devour the EU and read all SW related material
9 I'm not sure I have a favorite book but I do like I,Jedi for the fact it shows a first person view of the force
10 I've liked SW all my life but I didn't get hooked until last year when I read HttE now I've read all the novels up to date
11 I just read the LotR trilogy and thought it was great I enjoy reading when college permits it and playing soccer
12 so far I'd have to say ESB but I think when Episode 3 comes out It will conquer all

1. I haven't read that far yet, but I do own a few of the books. So far, it sounds okay to me, but it took me a while to get over Chewie.



2. Mostly same as you, Nightsun: good ol' TF.N, Aldera.net, Star Wars.com and some other sites, like The Digital Bits, the IMDB, etc.



3. Some. I collect a few action figures, books, comics, but I usually pick up any cool Star Wars stuff I find at garage sales or antique shops.



4. My favorite piece is my Jeremy Bulloch autograph, which I got last year at Disney World last year. I waited in line for four hours, but it was fun.



5. Edmond, on the edge of OKC.



6. How much time is between Episodes I and II?



7. The Special Editions got me hooked.



8. So far, so good (I'm going chronological, although I'm only at Wedge's Gamble right now).



9. So far, my favorite is Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter.

11. I'm into DVD, I have a large PEZ collection (hence the name), and I also have a large collection of Muppet stuff. Some of my othr favorite movies are Ghostbusters, the Back to the Future series, Jurassic Park 1 & 2 (but NOT 3), Indiana Jones, and the Muppet movies.



12. The Empire Strikes Back. Best movie ever made, in my opinion.

 

1 It's okay. I hardly read anything for it, though.

3 Yes, as much as I can without spending a fortune.

4 Probably my old 1977 ANH poster-- it's in nearly perfect condition.

8 Depends. I like almost anything Pre-TPM, but as for Post-RotJ I'm very picky.

9 Actually it is Queen Amidala's Journal. It was extremely well written and it captured the Queen's character perfectly.

11 Jesus. He's my life. As for everything else: I like to read, especially mysteries and fantasies, and I am almost done reading the LotR, which have promptly become my favorite books. I can't wait for the movies! I Irish Step Dance (as in the movie Riverdance), which is probably about as close to playing sports as I'll ever get. It's surely as exhausting. I want to be a stormchaser (if my stupid allergies will let up; low pressure systems make them terrible)!! I also love to sing, and I want to be a singer. Some fave music: dcTalk, Rebecca St. James, LaRue, The Newsboys. That's all I can think of right now...

Hard to say. I think my favorite figure is Plo Koon.

I remember seeing Jedi in theatres. I've always been a fan.

I really like the comics. I just don't get many chances to sit and read the books.

Music. Getting out of work.

Hard to say. I guess Return of the Jedi. I love the space battle and drama surrounding the Vader/Skywalker duel.

1. What do you think about the NJO?

Fits and spurts, in my opinion. I loved Dark Tide and Hero's Trial, but the Conquest books didn't do much for me.

I mostly just hang out here.

I only collect the novels, nothing else.

Well, actually, I do have the original soundtrack on two long play records that I picked up at a library sale several years ago. Does that count?

I was born in Seminole, lived there for a couple of years, moved to Arkansas for two years and then came back.

The kiddie novelization of Empire Strikes Back.

On the whole, yes, but I despise Hambly and MacIntire.

Iron Fist by Aaron Allston.

I like almost every kind of music you can name (except rap) and I love Frank Peretti's books and a good movie.

The Empire Strikes Back, because of the in depth character flourishes and the final shocking revelation of Darth Vader's true identity.

I can take it or leave it. I liked Vector Prime and the Stackpole duology, but since then it's just... eh.

2 What other sites do you like to go to?
TFN, the official site, fanfiction.net, and Harry Potter sites.

Not really. The last thing I avidly collected were the TPM Pepsi cans, now if I just see a poster or a book I really want I buy it. Aside from the Monopoly games, I don't have any SW toys.

Probably my Episode II teaser poster. Or maybe my Kenny Baker autograph.

About 15 years.

Always liked it as a kid, but full-blown obsession kicked in when my dad bought the SE videos when they came out in '97.

Bits and pieces: the Zahn books, the X-Wings, and some of the prequel EU.

9 If so, what's your favorite book?
The Zahn trilogy.

Like I said, loved it since I was little, but I was 14 in '97 when I really got hooked.

Harry Potter, Farscape, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and to an extent, Lord of the Rings.

Hmm. Toughie. I don't like any one of them enough more than the others to really claim a definite favorite.

Hm, haven't read it, and honestly, I probably never will.

Yeah, mainly vintage figures. I thought POTF2 was alright, though a few were cool. But POTJ was very nice, and the new figures look awesome.

I don't know much about it *yet*, but, hey, it's new stuff in the SW universe. Its gotta be cool.

I visit lots of SW sites, but not too many on a regular basis except this one.

I don't actively collect, but I've got lots of stuff from the early 80's.

My Vader/Fett pillowcase.

Lightsabers. I've always been a sucker for a good sword fight. Han Solo in Empire didn't hurt either

It's ok. I prefer the novels prior to NJO. The storytelling seemed to be better.

Probably a three way tie between my complete vintage figure collection, my 55+ (and growing) autographed figures, and my 36"x48" Hasbro Stormtrooper w/Dewback cardboard printer proof sheet (from the factory)

Saw the movie in '77 when I lived in Ashville, NC. We then moved to DC (my dad was military so we moved alot). My aunt visited in '78 and brought me a gift. Chewie, Luke, C-3PO and R2-D2. I still have them (opened of course). That started it all. Now I have her two boys hooked on it. Pass along the tradition. Buy a child a SW figure today!
