Wash, DC Questions from a newby

Hey gang, even though I've been a Star Wars fan for over twenty years I've never been to one of these meetings so I wanted to know what to expect. First, I have a six year old son. Should I wait for a meeting to come up on a weekend when he is with his mom or do people bring there kids to these things? Also, how many people usually show up for one of these meetings? Last do people give us as many strange looks as they do Trekies when we have a meeting?

Our meetings have so far been at the weekend, and so will the next ones. They have been held in public places, but we look no more out of place than anyone else. You should be proud to be a SW fan .

Our leader Dark_Jedi_Kam brought his son to our last meeting, so children are welcome !!

We'll have a website up and running soon, with photos from our meetings, so you can see what we all look like.

You'd be very welcome at a future get-together. Please come back to the forum, and read the 4th Meeting thread for updates.

OSI (Air Force Office of Special Investigations). I'm the computer guy but I help the agents out from time to time.
