The Best Gift by Bastet seems to be on the Qui-Gon challenge thread, in which 'Qui-Gon gives or receives a gift.' It's fun to play around with searching, and here ya go with the links - at least, curiosity is fullfilled, whether or not they can be used in your thread.

Here is Bastet's "The Best Gift," shortened though it is - let's hope it soon is fleshed out again. Just a note to say that the entry on 'NEW Qui-Gon Jinn Story Index' is most helpful and I really enjoyed going to the past years of '05 and beyond. The first comment by JinnisMINE contained a history of this site's contribution to the fanfiction of Star Wars, just about, a plus to all the re-posting and re-linking, I guess. So much story writing, and the quality, wow. Thanks for the relaxing trip to the past.
