    Hey Dana ;)

I have a question for everyone - if you lived anywhere else in the world, where would it be? I am curious how people in US would answer this.

Me personally - I have found two new homes - Rhodes in Greece which is a small but beautiful island with an amazing history. I can wander for days round the old town which has kept it's medieval feel intact (as well as its walled defences). The other place is New York - I'll be truthful, I was only mildly curious about NYC before I met Moriah, but I fell in love with both (lol, sorry for being so mushy). NYC is just so great, I was worried that there wouldn't be enough green (ie plant/tree/grass) for me, but you have huge parks. So that's my two.

Ok - secondly - same question for the SW Universe - this one is harder and I'll have a think. Playing SWG will probably help as the worlds on there are so beautifully rendered. I'll answer this one in a bit.

    :D

I'd love a house on acres of property in the middle of nowhere, yet within driving distance of NYC (like 4 hours driving time tops) and I'd love to have an apartment in Sorrento, Italy. Its where my family come from. I still have relatives that live there. Its breathtaking, Sorrento is actually the vacation destination for Italians, so its not full of American tourists.

Click here for pictures of Sorrento.

You and Eugenia can be neighbors, Dana! :)

Me, I've always wanted to live in Ireland. I've never been, even to visit.

Now, we just have to all get rich...

Dana and I will almost be neighbors, anyhow. My house will be in Venice, but I'll go to Sorrento to visit any day!!

and, yes, the cicadas are all dead. Soon the grubs will start dropping out of the trees to burrow into the ground for the next 16 1/2 years......

Well, I'm back in VA. I'm staying here for a few days. And guess what? There is a baby chick they are raising!

And I've never been to Venice. I always wanted to go there.

It's good you're back Dana, because Billy and I are leaving tomorrow. But I'll have internet access where I'm going. No baby chicks though. Unless Eugenia has a surprise for us...

I had limited access where I was. But in VA I can be on a lot longer. I have to share it with other people.

    Guess where I was lastnight...

I went into the Macy's fireworks show. :D I got into a special police viewing area due to some police benifits my Dad's girlfriend has through her brother-in-law. We were quite litteraly front row center for the show. :D

Cool! I went to see Grucci's fireworks on Saturday at Eisenhower park with my family. It was the first time they had it there in nearly 30 years. My Aunt got tickets. Luckily we got there early because they stopped letting people in, even though they had tickets! Before they were shown the New York Pops played. It was cool.

Then yesterday I went down to the yacht club with Dad and we watched the fireworks that was going on at Jones Beach. The club has a great view of them so we go there every year. They hold this party like thing every year.

So, what is everybody's plan for the summer? I'm being lazy and not working. ;) Dad and I have this deal that if I cook dinner every night I don't have to work.

My plan for the summer is to go to lots of cons that I can't afford. :)

Speaking of which, who is going to Shoreleave this weekend? Chris and I will be driving down to Maryland together, probably on Friday evening due to my inability to skip work...

    Anybody want to join us?
