Quick, essay topic needed!

I'm supposed to be writing an essay (in French) on anything my heart desires. Sounds easy, but I honestly can't think of any topic to write about .

I'm willing to take suggestions from you buffoons, but nothing overly complex... I've got to be able to find the words I don't know in my Larousse.

Well I mean, do you know *anyone* who speaks Potato? That would be an impossible subject to research.

Ok...I'm not going to rely on you guys for serious scholastic help... *brainstorms*

 

Pour bien connaitre un homme, il faut savoir, sa langue et se culture.

You could do an essay about Napoleon's contribution to history, his legacy and how his conquest lead to the European balance of power.

You could discuss French Absolutism and its effects on later regimes such as Napoleon, Hitler and Stalin.

You could discuss Victor Hugo's effect on French Lit.
Or bash Jacques Prevert for the uncreative moron that he truly was.

Anyway, i think a good subject would be history related. Try not to make the French look as stupid as they are, though.

 

You could write about the IRA, French military victories, or a famous French person.

 

I decided to write about fall tourism in our state.
