    Is it possible to shoot and kill droids in ccg?

    Absolutly.
    With the decks I used to play with (Destroyer Droids, etc.), I got a lot of practace.
    The only way you can do this, though, is if you are in a battle, unless the weapon specifically states otherwise (or you use sniper).
    For that, the droid needs to say "may battle and be battled" in it's game text or have a battle droid icon.

    Droid can be targeted by weapons in battle just like any other character can. If they have no defense value printed on the card, their defense value is treated as 0.
