    Hi!
I was finished creating an intro title in after effects 5.5 pb, and exported it with quicktime animation codec, for then importing it into premiere. Then the problems begin... Premiere automatically converts my quicktime render to pal-dv avi, and it appears that the quality is set to half or something, the image gets heavily distorted. What am I doing wrong?

Please help me out, I'm in a hurry!

Have a nice day // Klaschy

I think the problem lies in the CODEC you chose. The animation CODEC is best used for, well, animation. It's a lower color depth CODEC than all the others. That's why it sucks for video footage.
    Try using a different CODEC.

Or, better yet, you really shouldn't be compressing it at all if you intend to bring it into Premiere. It makes a much larger file, but the quality is perfect.
You should just dump that thing out of AE as AVI/Lossless.

I agree. You could use the HuffYuv codec or the simple NTSC DV option (uncompressed) to export, but I highly recommend against using Quicktime Animation for exporting (in any case).

And Fig, your post was very helpful as well ;).
